I have come to the conclusion Key & Peele is probably Mike's new favorite show. He laughs harder at these than any other reactions, especially the "Town Hall" vid.

7:40 Funny thing that....my 4'11'' grandmother back in 2004 was coming back home and in her luggage she had a ceremonial axe. The TSA found it and pulled her aside. She was 90 at the time and is Native American. The moment they saw her, the TSA agent took the axe, wrapped about an entire ring of shipping tape around the blade. Then placed it between two carboard boxes panels around the axe and then wrapped that in another entire ring of packing tape before placing it into a Delta shipping box used for mail. When she landed in LAX, she was escorted by two large TSA agents holding the Delta Airlines shipping box. I thought my 90 year old grandmother was being arrested until they started laughing and escorted me back to my car. They told me what happened and said, "We had to make sure she was not part of a sleeper cell". So yeah....I know someone who attempted to board a plane with an axe.

When I was in undergrad I took a graduate level course where we spent our spring break in Dominica doing our own primary research projects. When we came back to the U.S. some of my buddy's had stuff like local rum that they sometimes confiscate. I said "Let me go first".
When the TSA saw that my research permit from the Commonwealth of Dominica was for the rights to transport "3.5kg of bat guano" off of the island they just waved the entire class of 16 through. 😂

The year before 9/11, my aunt took a loaded gun on a plane. My Aunt Nita had flown down to Florida to take care of my Aunt Jodi when she was dying of pancreatic cancer and Jodi gave her a handgun -- I don't remember what was special about it but she gave it to her -- and she stuck it in her purse. After Jodi died, my other aunts eventually went to return home to Virginia -- now, they were in their 60s and this trip was the first time they'd ever flown so they were real novices. And Nita went through security with the loaded gun and security missed it.
I read the beginning as "my aunt took a plane with a loaded gun"
I accidentally brought a pocket knife on a plane. I forgot it was in my bag. The TSA did not notice. Hilariously though, they did stop me because I had a jar of crunchy peanut butter which counted as a 'gel'. But the knife? Apparently that wasn't as important.

I've flown quite a lot but one of the funnest TSA interactions was when I shoved a disc golf bag in my luggage and they had no idea what they were seeing on x-ray. I also had a corkscrew that I just surrendered to be thrown out... but I also made at least 3 flights with a pocket knife before they noticed so they are certainly not infallible. I'm pretty sure that was the same flight but it was in my backpack! It's so inconsistent.
My friend flew to New York City and when he got to the hotel, he realized that he had forgotten to take out the hunting knife (with a 6- inch blade) that was in his backpack... 🙄
The damage is INCALCULALBLE😂😂

I enjoy all of your reaction videos and have been watching you three for some time now. It is quite satisfactory to watch you guys enjoy American comedy, which is relatable, in that, myself being American, also has a familiarity with the content. If you want to watch quality American sketch comedy, please look up Dave Chappelle skits. If I can recommended my top three Dave Chappelle skits, that I think you all would enjoy, from #1-3, I would suggest you guys watch "Black Bush", "Fear Factor (w/ Tyrome Biggums)", & the "Players Haters Ball", respectively. Truly gold American style comedy skits that are timeless. Thank you!

Years ago, I was flying somewhere and got stopped by TSA, they went through my bag and removed 2 diodes and said I could take them on board. I had to put them in checked baggage. When we got to where we were going, I was going through my carry on bag and found a snap blade knife they missed. For those of you who don't know, a diode is a passive electronic component maybe 1/4 in long with leads about an inch long.
I accidentally brought a lighter on a plane and nobody noticed 😂

Post 9/11 I was on a layover from Aus and in LA. They didn't have time to create check-in stations for pre-boarding and the walls were all cardboard. The wait time was ~5 hours. Glad I had a 8 hour turnaround. Man, it was insane. TSA is way more lax these days. Especially domestic flights. I remember getting screened for bomb making materials when flying international lol.

I've never seen this, but it's absolutely brilliant! TSA is such a joke, and several independent studies have shown they don't affect air travel safety at all.
I was on a business trip and nearly got refused a flight for an old pair of nail clippers in the crevass at the bottom of a carry on bag after 9/11 it was a miserable time to travel.
The TSA misses approximately 90-95% of all banned materials - including bombs, guns, and knives. They do internal checks to find out the effectiveness.
I really recommend reacting to the cunnilingus class sketch.

9:00 My brother in law works for the TSA. He says that travelers have weed all the time. They just turned a blind eye to it. Its not worth their time to deal with it. Obviously some countries are very different in that regard though.
I can verify. I travel a lot for work (well...did before Covid). I live in an illegal state, and a lot of coworkers will stock up when we go to a state like California or Colorado. TSA does not care.
