Thanks for hanging and watching another episode of what has become the longest build of mine to date...But as it gets closer to completion it gets more and more worth it. Let me know your favorite part so far!

It is a very good book for beginners as well as for those that are already into th-cam.com/users/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt A very good basic ebook to keep as a reference too. I like it and the way the subject matter is presented. It has humor and that helps with the reading.

This place is going to be a masterpiece. Can’t wait to see the finished product. I’m a plumber and I enjoy seeing people take pride in their work like this. Unfortunately most of my work gets covered up and buried in the wall but I always tell myself that someday someone will see it lol. Keep up the good work.

Another great video! I was watching and noticed one viewer kept pressing for information on your income, which isn't really any of our business. What's important is whether you're happy with your income, whether your employee(s) are compensated fairly, and do you feel confident you can keep your business going well into the future. If you can safely say "yes" to those questions, then you're doing quite well!

I’ve been in construction my whole life and I am a 3rd generation carpenter. I have been watching your videos for a year or so and since day one of watching it’s made me and motivated me to want to be a better carpenter... I love learning new techniques and watching how others tackle difficult situations in our trade... your work speaks volumes and thanks for the motivation to do better.

Love the channel. Great build. Everything looks great. Only thing I would say is maybe find J that’s finished on the inside or even a vinyl F channel or something to match ceiling as the grey looks unfinished. I realize it was an afterthought on how you were going to finish it off and that’s what you had. Maybe even spray paint in a pinch. You do fantastic work. Your attention to detail and always double checking with lasers and levels even when you really don’t need to just shows how you are a perfectionist and your customers are lucky to have you for their contractor. Keep up the great work and awesome videos.

Man that was nice, Kyle, to have that extra space behind to pry the boards down. I did a finished basement this year and I had to get creative to pry a few of them because it was on Superior walls, if you know what those are, Lol. I'll tell you a hardwood floor mallet is golden for installing that stuff. Great video production as always sir.

That external corner on the ground floor where you mitred the tongue and grooved boarding looked mint,I don't know how your finishing the window and door reveals but I think that they would look great with that same level of detail. I'm sure however you finish them that they will look top notch anyway. I suppose that on the corner of the reveal mitred they would be more susceptible to opening up with a higher temperature/uv fluctuations so mitring the reveals could actual eventually end up looking quite bad.

You guys do great work and I really enjoy watching the care you take in all aspects of the building phases. While you were taking care of cutting 45s for your outside corners of the TnG, what visual aspect would you get from doing 45s for the inside corners? You did cut the 2 degree bevel to tighten it up but what about a 45.

For people who want to do it yourself, blowing insulation is easy and pretty cheap. I did my barn 42'x88' with a blower from Lowes in about 4 hours with my nephew feeding it and spent about $1000. I also added a few bags above my garage the same day in about half an hour. Took me longer to unload and reload the blower than to insulate above the garage. Don't know how much pros charge, just saying it is also easy to do it yourself and both Home Depot and Lowes will let you use the blower for free if you buy the material from them.

I was using a rented cellulose blower and I had a couple of bags of vermiculite hanging around. Probably 30' into the garage where I was storing my furniture. With the cut off switch over my shoulder the duct tape holding the hose onto the blower failed. Do you know how much vermiculite that blower could broadcast into my garage before I found and switched the blower off? A LOT, I never did get it all out of my sofa. Great video always, great job on the building. Thanks

Kyle, your work is amazing as always.
    The attic insulation.......
    - Owner should have included some basic lighting up there. Have a switch inside the attic door to throw on.
    - Sorry for the poor guy up there. Not a pleasant job to do or condition to work in. Must be unbearable to do in summer heat surrounded by metal.
    - Finally, some sort of basic service walk surface up there should be a minimum requirement. God forbid you make one misstep or stumble due to heat exhaustion..... would not want to rely on the ceiling sheeting to save me from falling to the floor below. Also, imagine having to replace a ceiling sheet in the middle because someone stepped on it.

Weird observation that leads me to a question. Behind the 1bys that you are nailing the pine to there seems to be quite a bit of extra space in between the insulation and the pine boards. I know its going to have a little more space because of the 1bys that the pine tongue and grove is nailed to but I mean in the stud space it looks like at least on camera about 2 inches of void space in the wall. Is that because in a rolled insulation wall to get the same R value the rolled insulation just takes up more space behind drywall, paneling, etc?
