Congrats! And I'd say your advice really makes sense not only from the standpoint of passing training, but the nature of the job itself! You have to work with your captain and cabin crew to successfully bring a bunch of souls up to the heavens and back in a $50-120 million piece of equipment in all sorts of conditions.
I wish I saw this video before I started, everything you said was 100% true. Make sure to keep a study group. I personally study better alone but still made sure to sit down with at least one other person to compare notes, quiz eachother, etc.
You came a long way keep going. Proud of your success. I just applied and got accepted into the Southwest 225 still have to take the adapt test and pass the 2 interviews. God willing I'll be where you are one day.
Hi Michael quick question, how are airlines about tattoos? They aren’t suppose to be visible right? Also when in training will that be at your actual base or are sent away?
@@Godsgirl818 hey, thanks for watching my video and leaving a comment. Yes tattoos should be visible. It depends on the airline. But usually where you train will not be your base. You will be be assigned a different base during your time in training
Hey, thanks for watching and reaching out. No worries, we were all newbies at one point. You need to meet all the requirements which requires multi engine license and 1500 hours. I believe there are a few other requirements such as cross country time, night time etc. but once you get 1500 and all the other requirements the airlines will take you on. Hope this was helpful, be sure to reach out if you have anymore questions. Be sure to subscribe!
Week 4 of training I asked myself “ what did I get myself into “ 😂 but I persevered !
My advice :
Get cockpit flows, memory ítems, and limitations ready, so you don't have to spend time during the ground school learning that.

Is there a lot of math involved during the training?
Lol not really. I’m terrible at math 😆
Good😭 did you become a flight instructor afterwards to get your hours?
@@sydtee1207 yes I did become a flight instructor in order to get my hours
@@MichaelHsu95 is it something you had to apply for or do they roll you into it once you complete the cadet program?
@@sydtee1207 I had to apply and look for my own instructing job. They didn’t help with anything after the cadet program
Congratulations. Can international students apply?
Please we would like to know the answer
