The price is higher because the model has every structural add on and they usually go way over on the design center upgrades. I believe in the video I mentioned what the average buyer is spending to build that exact floor plan. There is a move-in ready builder designed home of this floor plan that will be ready in the next few months and I believe it’s priced at $1.8m
@@ALEXANDER57370 Some builders especially higher-end luxury builders do charge more. There is a difference in the quality of the construction and what is considered a standard feature of a home. One of the biggest differences that increase the cost of a home is the land cost.
@@AlexPiechDallasTXLiving I get that, but they made the shower ridiculously oversized while cramming both sinks and vanities together. Just not a great design IMHO.

Not very much kitchen counter space for small appliances. Home office is a little small for any additional chairs.
When the shower is big enough to play team sports, it’s probably too big. Maybe have separate his/her vanities and a slightly smaller shower?
