Hello again Linda. I have painted another beautiful owl for my daughter in-law, PLUS a delightful sea horse using the same techniques for my Granddaughter. Lovely birthday cards. Thank you so much. Cheers, Judy 🎉❤

How did you get those edges? It looks close to deckle but seems like it's a great scissors. Rhank you. I really enjoyed this video. I'll try this and send to my ggranddaughter.

I have a guillotine that cuts with a deckle edge:)

@@lindabrownartist Would you please give me a source and brand name, I really need one. I have full sheets of Arches and need to cut them up. I have about 20 of them and can't see myself paying something that large. I bought them years ago with high hopes. I did use one and made a beautiful American Indian woman with white leather dress with a small sparrow sitting in her cupped hands. It was pretty. I wish I had that reference photo now. I'd do a smaller version. Thanks so much. I really do need one.

When you place your beautiful work into the public does that mean you are ok with others reproducing your unique designs? Just wondering how that works?

Hi Francesca, good question! I am very happy for anyone to copy my work for learning purposes, the copied work can be hung in their own home or gifted. It can’t be claimed as their own work as it’s a copy, it can’t be sold.
If it’s posted on social media or the internet it must be stated that it’s a copy of or inspired by Linda Brown.
In saying all of the above, images are copyrighted but techniques can’t be copyright so with this owl, you could use the same techniques with say a rabbit 😀 it’s a fun project and could be adapted to many subjects, enjoy 😊
