Very tempted to get one for hiking. I have a naturehike spider, cost me £65 and is 1.6 kg.Very spacious, sets itself up. My issue is,I would take two poles hiking,so all in,there isn't much difference in weight.
strangely, I think yours would be more flexible for me as it has a frame, and there are times when I won’t be able to get stakes into rocky ground here in Spain. That is a great price. Is yours double walled? If you are taking poles anyway this obviously saves you 750g…maybe I should talk to Naturehike…
would like to see the space with a thick pad in there too. I'm 6'1 and I've been looking at this tent, but the only thing holding me is thinking that with a pad I'll be constantly rubbing my sleeping bag on the walls and bringing the condensation to me.
I've been using the tent quite a bit now. I'm 6ft and there is a lot of length left top and bottom, so that wouldn't be a problem. The tent also has an inner. My pad is only 5cm and I sleep on my front so you may find that with a thick pad and on your back your face would be close to the inner...but you've probably seen elsewhere that you can use the side guys and a stick to pull the tent up and away from face/feet. I think it's a good tent, especially for the price/weight.
Happy that you found a nice spot to overnight on your bikepacking adventure. You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area with many places to ride. Cheers and chapeau!
I’m beginning to think my camping vid trips are jinxed Heidi. I’ve been out 4 times and only recorded 1 camp overnight. I mean, I may not look my best first thing, but I’m not vain about it! Plenty more bikepacking trips coming up this year though. Hoping things go more smoothly!
Nice video with excellent explanation of set up, good product if its for you. Although it's not for me as I would sooner stay at Premier Inn and wake up refreshed, comfortable and have a breakfast before carrying on,
Agree! But my trips often don’t coincide with towns…in fact that’s the whole point really, and there IS joy to sleeping outside (as a bonus, I sleep like a log anywhere! )
Good review of tent yako but im a little old for camping ,, in your younger days I’m sure there would find room for a nice slender girl friend in there,, ps your hair not to bad.? Cheers jim. .
Hell of a tent for the dollars bud, good review 🙂
Thanks for that mate. A bit out of my comfort zone, tbh!

@@yakoridesagain it's double walled and there is one left on eBay at £75.
The Taga is also an option, just about a kg,but is single walled,on Amazon for £109 currently
The Lanshan Pro is a single wall tent (which is unsealed). You‘ve got the Lanshan 1, with inner tent and factory seam sealed.
I just went with what Nightcat called it!
@@yakoridesagain I know, it's confusing! They are a bit sloppy with the model distinction... ;-)

Thanks Sharon. It was beautiful. I must do it again as a full video when it gets warmer. I had to leave in the dark because I got too cold!
@@yakoridesagainSorry you had to leave early, but that's okay. Best to stay safe. Hugs to you and Mrs. Yako
Not bad, you didn't show the en suit bathroom? Thank you again for the review.
I did! The chicken was using it.
Shame we missed the original overnight footage.
I like My home comforts too much to bike pack but I did enjoy camping as a kid
