Trevor keep doing what you are doing my brother. I don’t get to rope anymore in the pen. I’m only living it through you my friend. What ever you put on here is welcome on my part of Oklahoma. Your friend in Christ Jim Brown Durant Oklahoma

Az Murphy thank you. If you start them right, it sure helps as you bring them along.

Hey Trev, we were at the CNFR in the calf roping together in 97, been awhile lol. Question, on a calf horse, do u "check" him before u throw it or do u teach yours to get a timing/pattern when you deliver that rope by their head? Got an older horse here I just bought and he has me stumped, and it's been about 9 yrs since I roped, so I'm trying to get a refresher! Thanks!

Please read Doug’s comment. With that said, I can read the title of the video and watch it without sound and still understand what’s going on. But guys and gals new to roping that wanna practice like their life depends on it may not get it.

You guys need to work on your microphones, it’s really hard to hear what’s going on

Doug Wilson Holy crap! I was fixing to comment on that but told myself to read the comments first.

Doug Wilson man, it’s been a process. We’re working on it and trying to keep putting out as much knowledge as we can in the process. In this one though, if TB isn’t looking at the camera, they’re just roping and showing each style. 👍🏼

Hello Trevor, Kinda off topic. What is the widest a header should rope? 4 lane even 5 lane? Appreciate the input.

These techniques originated in central Mexico in the 17th century

      @@TMac0925 what do you think?

Nope. Mexican roping is COMPLETELY different than American cowboy roping. Horses are different, rope is different, saddles are different, saddle horn is different. This is rodeo roping, not out on the range cowboy roping. Cheers 🍻
