@@ammarm5947 yeah I think it is harmonics plus a mild octaver effect. He has put other effects on some guitar parts that kind of create the backing track of the song. On the percussive parts, it sounds like he put Ableton's resonator on it to create the synth sound. All guess work of course :-)

And that is also why many people think he's faking stuff.. but it's just a lot of work after the recording is done. In case of that part at 0:31, I think its more like a shimmer effect, like the one from the strymon bluesky or something like that.
