Man, what a cool event. I really liked the story, it felt so comforting after the heartbreak of chapter 7, despite being bittersweet itself. J is an awesome character, I honestly did not expect him to have so much personality, but of course bluepoch did not disappoint with their writing. His wittiness and banter intertwined with calmness and contemplativeness give him unique charm. J feels real, not a shallow bad boy stereotype. The thing with Paulina made me feel for him too, as an older sibling of a person who chose a pretty dangerous job. His monologue about what he wished Paulina's life was like hit me in the feels. To be honest, every character was great in their own right, even the gangster npcs. The writing just keeps getting better and better. And the vibes of the 90s America are immaculate too. Love the urban aesthetic, I've been waiting for something like this for a long while. The wilderness set for this patch got me back into building my island, haven't touched it since 1.4. And of course the music. All the ost for this chapter are bangers, this song included. Keep up the good work BP, you're doing amazing. I never regret playing and supporting this game. It truly deserves success ❤
