The old model has been known to have random issues with the ports "disconnecting" constantly. The newer model that includes a slot for an NVMe drive seems to be more reliable on that front (for anyone seeing this video)

any wifi issues with this? Its been reported elsewhere that wifi performance can considerably drop.
