I live in the Netherlands so I'm used to looking at a wall at the horizon and knowing the North Sea is right behind it, but the height of the walls in this video were something else. I mean, I got anxious just watching at it. And they'd block a lot of sunlight at the start and end of every day (I guess something like living in a Swiss or Austrian valley). People living here would maybe have more mental issues over time.

The city itself looks like a very pleasant place to live, it reminds me of the kind of utopian cities we can see in some futuristic movies or video games - although I would feel a little bit claustrophobic living here, as I don't like sea that much (I am much more happy in my remote town in continental Europe 😂). 4:43 A hole in the dike? This seems dangerous, even more when there is so much to lose if water goes in. The road should go over the dike.
7:28 For better traffic flow, you would likely have those ramps either join on the other side or have more of a loop (like a trumpet), or both - currently cars going from the arterial to the highway either have to turn left, cross the flow in the other direction, or do a 125° turn when turning right. (And the other way around for cars from the highway to the arterial.)

falling water or cascading down a series of tiers on the repelling wall side will add power and beauty as it goes

Delicate road map work; excellent idea. tho i am pretty sure the kids (lives in the city) gonna refer the forrest in the middle as the rapy forrest since the city center would be a ghost town at night. zoning can be improved not just for areal view purpose. still. very good job on the thing. much thumbs up. Also, dutch love their bikes so maybe a dam with bike lane?

Beautiful city and interesting idea. But from a safety standpoint, I would imagine some sort of division with multiple evacuation points to prevent the entire city flooding from one breech.

You: Carefully lowers ground around flood walls.
Me: Being quicker and less careful, knowing you can’t lower ground under a flood wall.

Nice what you can do with unlimited money. Try this on an official map all vanilla with base game. I concede the use of unlimited soil as dirt can always be imported/exported. That would be impressive! Cool city idea though.
