Hi, I've just bought a besseae and am grateful for any care tips. It was very useful to see them in situ. Could you tell me if they prefer acidic or more alkaline water/feed and do they like crushed oyster shell grit to help with calcium. It looks like they are living on rocks/stone. How do you feed yours please and would small pumice be ok instead of perlite?
