I got here from "El Despertar", my hands-down favorite Katy Towell animated short. Woohoo!
I love the vintage look to this one. It feels like one of those old fashioned PSA videos we all make fun of at times. Loved the little bit where the hat was on sale for $6.66.
I love how you've masterfully recreated the style of animated education films of the time. The morbid jokes that were played straight as if it were normal in the world gave me a chuckle, it's made me imagine what the world is like outside of the video. It strikes me as an alternate history where instead of being hunted down, witchcraft took the place of the word's most powerful organization instead, which is an idea I've thought about before so I'm glad to see it depicted here.
You are one of my favorite storytellers and I'm pleasantly surprised to see you still posting, even if it is every once in a blue moon.

Everyone on here going “omg she’s back” has me giggling. I love love love this. You hit the tone, colors and format so perfectly. The soundtrack and narration really do come across as of its time, rather than sounding like you have a bad mic or YT garbled it on upload. Excellent, amazing work.

This was a darkly funny short, the contrast of the scenes with the witchcraft with your voice as calm as if you were discussing the various beauty and makeup products just like any other normal one got some good laughs out of me, I enjoyed how the animation embracing the autumn/halloween atmosphere, and I wonder what your next video will be about, since Christmas is right around the corner. And I for one, welcome our new witch overlords.
A fantastic way to start the Halloween day, as well as end it. Great to see folkloric details sprinkler in on this educational program meant for up and coming daemonic summoners of various families and heritages.
Great to see your work again as well, Ms. Towell. Your style of storytelling has always put a smile on my face and given me great inspiration to create myself. And I thank thee wholeheartedly for that.

Hmm...I don't know if this film meant it or not about questions after the film so i'm going to asked: How often do one perform rituals? Do ceremonies takes a lot out of a witch? Does a simple spell helps with a witch do her bidding? Does unintentional spells works without the witch's knowledge? ...I'm asking for a friend.
