Colin has had the magic with that floating Orca in the porpoise more than once. Very interesting. Maybe this is just me but I suppose they get aggressive when they see a floater thinking maybe it is a bait the porpoise stunned so they just charge it. I do know this year that in the porpoise we had to let the Mantis sit and present longer and always the strike came on the present.
I told him it might be time to retire that one before it gets lost. There's definitely something to them crushing baits on the pause and the slower you go the more it is in the strike zone.
Can you do a review video of your onslowbay boat?? Would love to just see a walkthrough of the boat and it’s features. The website does not go extensive in its review of features and photos of the interior.

Brad and Jessica at the factory are very easy to get in touch with, so far I haven't had any issues with mine. For pump replacements and things like that I think it would be easy to get the parts. They are built like a brick house so haven't heard of any structural issues that you might need the factory for. My one friend has a 2013 27 with 2700+ hours on it, no issues.

Wow … awesome fish/fight! What type of knots do you use throughout the while leader line ie. Braid yo floro etc.
Twisted leader system. 80 lb twisted mono to 80 lb fluorocarbon bite leader. Very easy to tie and make yourself.
