I remember when I first heard Radiohead. It was just as popular singles like Fake Plastic Trees and Creep. Played as one off songs on MTV. That were crammed between other confection popular songs. In a staccato play order that didn't build any sense of contiguousness from song to song. Other than just the fanfare anthem of announcing the day's current popularity for the masses. They just seemed to me another melodic waif, exuding public apathy and lethargy, while clearly working hard to get noticed in the public space... group. Fastforward years later. A good friend raved about them. A friend whose music taste I tended to really find gold from. I got both the albums _OK Computer_ and _Kid A_ . Started listening to them as full album listens. Just play them through while doing whatever. Amazing. Of course. And it just got better and better each time I replayed through the albums. The packaging and delivery of commercial art is crazy. But as Canada Bill said: "it's the only game in town."
Nice to see you zone out to that Tre, one of my favourite songs of all time, by one of my favourite bands of all time, they are the closest thing you will get to Pink Floyd in the modern era, ok they might not have a Gilmour solo to gravitate to but if you listen to the 'noises' Jonny Greenwood gets out his guitar without doing a traditional solo its undeniable just how good they are, they also cover a lot of the subjects Floyd covers about basically living your life in the modern world and all the stress and anxiety that comes with it. Like Floyd, they don't do soppy love songs, its mainly serious lofty stuff.
Saw Radiohead in a small venue in 1997, an industry preview gig of their then-new LP _Ok Computer._ The first time I heard the album, I heard it live in it's entirety standing six feet away from Thom & Johnny.
I was there. Wood panels in the background...and the wood bar window up above your shoulder. It has been a privilege both watching you grow in music as I grow at the same time through you. Peace. By the way...you still owe me that Buckethead Coast of Claude reaction. Peace.
Glad you’re revising Radiohead, they are one of those artists who might live you cold at first listening if not in the right set of mind but if you go back you will get an epiphany and get what the fuss is all about. A bit like a teenager who first comes across fine wine, Bach’s music or George Eliot novel might not appreciate them at first but when you mature and gain life experience a whole new world opens up
Nice reaction man, you're doing the song the justice it deserves (again). Those guys are desert island for me. Truly remarkable band with a deep, rich catalog. Thanks and keep em coming.
Very, very special. Very few other modern bands can touch them. I was lucky enough to see them live in the early 2000s when I lived in the UK. It was an outdoor concert and the main thing I remember was the float and oomph of Paranoid Android. (And the tall guy standing in front of me, I’m short 😅).
A roller coaster of a tune. Another roller coaster tune ( different genre though dance ) faithless with 'salva mea' full album version. I'm not sure why there's not many reactions on TH-cam. Its stunning. Check it out.
So, buddy, you listening all the stuff with a good sound in headphones?) Looks like you should re-listen all your 100000+ reactions song one again) Glad you still reacting, hope you and family well!
Original lyrics at the end of the breakdown, that is, prior to the record label demanding they change: "God loves his children; that's why he kills them, yeah!"
Incredible song. Highly recommend you check out the live recording on Later with Jools Holland which is available on TH-cam and was the start of another music revolution according Dave Grohl
I commented about music videos adding to or taking away from songs in your Burn the Witch reaction. If you're in the mood for more revisits, try the music videos for Bjork's Joga and especially Bachelorette. These are incredible examples of the point I was making about the music videos enhancing the conceptual experience.

Glad to see a re-visit of this, that means you really like this song and for good reason, it is so amazing. Well done man! 👍
People who feel more connect instantly to Radiohead. Connects to a deep place.

I’ve always thought Radiohead were the successors to the Pink Floyd crown.

Glad to hear you react again after all your upgrades. This is such a classic. I love this band.
Ok computer is where radiohead kicked it into the stratosphere.
One of the greatest songs ever.

Ah man - you are so good at this it is such a treat to hear you do Radiohead.
This album is a big poster in my room for ten years now
Great track brother 👍
Such a cool Radiohead track, great reaction (second time round!). Even better live by the way...

Glad you're revisiting this classic. The last half minute or so makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck

Lol yes
Phenomenal band 😎

I think I remember reading this started as three different songs they rammed together
One of the greatest album of all time!
This track is operatic, epic!
Mint to see you buzz off this! It is a masterpiece 😎
I was there in the early days and I think Suede still might grow on you

I love this band. But legit dislike various things they've done. I think it's ok to harbour those feelings at once. Phenomenal band 😎
