I just bought a 95 Helix a couple days ago, rode it for a couple hours today, and loved it ! My last bike was a Reflex, and the Helix is sooo much better ! I cruised between 65 / 70 today on a 2 lane road, it could have gone faster, but it was fast enough for me. It just amazed me how comfortable the seat was, and how smooth it made the roads feel.
I have owned all 3.a morphous a helix and a Majesty. All 3 are great bikes. My opinion.. for what it's worth.. is that the two are very close. The morphous ( stock suspension) is ok. The helix is a bit softer. And the windscreen is very good. I have a tall windscreen on my morphous. And it's comfortable. The helix seems to pick up faster to 50. The morphous starts slow but picks up after 35 to 75. I have ridden 30 000 miles on the morphous.. but I love both
I have a Helix I scored for $300 to fix up… and was debating on swapping to a Morphous I found with less than 50 miles on it for $2500. You answered my question. Thank you.
Thanks for your nice review. I love my 2004 Helix that just turned 21000 miles with no issues - just normal maintenance. It's worlds better than my first scooter - a 1957 Cushman Pacemaker! By the way, it's pronounced he-licks, not hell-iks.
BAckfiring on deceleration is bad. You will bend your valves in the winter. You have an air leak somewhere. Probably the "boot"that the carb hangs on. Another culprit could be exhaust gaskets.
Looks great. Anyway you can rig up a windscreen onto that top body part you added? A windscreen is a must! I had a 26.8 inch high Jurock Windshield and drove it from Woodstock, Ga to Destin, Fl. Loved the ride. The factory suspension was great for me. An engine swap 400cc from the Majesty would be amazing. I hear it's pretty simple. All electronic connectors fit exactly, engine is the same size externally the only thing is to fabricate for the exhaust. Look for me on fb. I'll show you my pics with the Morphous. I went to North Carolina, everywhere. A couple trips without the Windscreen, pretty much unbearable, that's when I got it
@@donjuanthepiper1899 I would get a big windshield. Doesnt look as cool but I used mine with a half helmet and no goggles and never got wind hitting me in the face at all. I'm 5'7. Jurock makes them

Dude the helix blows all of em away...it's just a cruiser but that's all u need...don't waste your money on the white thing...pimp that helix out...paint it put ur tunes on it and drive it anywhere they are pretty bullet proof...

Mine was the extra tall 26.5 Inches. I wanted complete coverage so I could wear a half helmet and no goggles but they make smaller ones

You could’ve had it shipped it’s a very easy process, only cost me around $500 to have it shipped from South Carolina.
