- #UgCS GeoHammer is a simple but powerful tool that can be used to quickly assess and pre-process #GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) data.
What you will learn:
- short introduction to ground penetrating radars and their use on drones
- introduction to GeoHammer installation and software interface
- data processing workshop.
+ Q&A session.
UgCS GeoHammer - Simple to use tool to quickly assess and pre-process GPR (ground penetrating radar) data for non-professional geophysicists. Especially useful for airborne data as the whole flight data is recorded as a single radargram and it has to be split to separate profiles corresponding to flight lines.

If I want to export the results of the horizon lake as a KML file to see the location and the data collected. How can I do that?. For pipelines, you added flags, but in the lake's case how should it be done? Thank you!
GeoHammer is a free, easy to use, simple software suitable for application when it is required to display the acquired data quickly and mark point or linear targets. There are many more scenarios where a seasoned geophysicist and/or the right specialized software will be needed. Bathymetry, especially if you want to get a 3d reconstruction of the bottom, is one of those cases.
Thanks for your tutorial..I am trying to save the kml file and open it in google earth pro..however 0kb is the size..unable to open..Advance Thanks
Thank you for your message. Please try again - it should be opening properly. However, if the problem persists, please drop us a message at support@ugcs.com
Hello, is it possible to interpret in GeoHammer also layers/lines or just single points? Have these points (line points) the interpreted depth information when exported?
Thank you
in Geohammer you can only mark points without depth information.
what is penetration power of the gpr
It depends on the type of GPR used and soil type. Currently, the UgCS SkyHub supports the integration of 5 different GPR models. Discover more on industrial.ugcs.com/gpr or send a message to ugcs@ugcs.com with your application scenario.
I was experimenting with the data (in this case the bathymetric data) that is available on your website, but I couldn't do so much as I don't have the software to process GPR data. What I want to do is export the data to GIS software and create a map. I wonder if you guys have a video or tutorial about GPR data processing using geophysical software. Thank you
No, currently we have not organised such webinar, as primarily SPH Engineering is developing drone mission planning and flight control software and providing UAV integrations services - but for more efficient discussion about GPR data processing, please reach out to ugcs@ugcs.com
