Love your gluebook! And I know I've told you this before, but I like how you're not afraid to leave white space. Some pages are packed and others have white space and I love them all. Also, go hubby! Nice music. Very cool. I like it. It went well with the flip through and reflected the energy of the pages.

Thank you! This one does not have as many blank spaces as my other books (I blame the zillion chicken images I needed to use lol) but I like the idea of making one that has a lot more space leftover on a page to actually use for writing in to go along with the collage images. And I will tell Ray you liked his songs, that will make his day!!!

Thank you! Yes, this one was made with a composition notebook - so 100 pages - which is definitely a lot! They definitely take awhile to fill up, but that's what I like about them!

I've found a kindred spirit & others like myself..😃..a pair of Itonic pink scissors,a glue stick & over 10,000s of cut-outs over years collected makes me a happy camper. I never knew other people made similar books, it is such a relaxing hobby. When Staples went out, for $1 I got an odd size of 13x17 heavy white paper 500 sheets completely changed my collaging. I have about 200 sheets loose with themes I add to over years, like funny ads, or chimps, cars, candy. For years I kept collage in groupings, but then got more artistic like the freedom you show in your books with such cool variety of mixed pictures is really inspiring & neat that you share your creations with others. Kudos to you. Do you have a method for storing your cut-outs? I've tried so many ways & putting in extra large zip bags by category. Do you have any suggestions where I feel really stifled in my life lately with creativity where sometimes I think what is the point of my art & how to get that flow of excitement of creativity back? Thank you again for sharing your special journals👩🏼‍🎨

It's always nice to know there are other people who love cutting up magazines! I am actually going to start working in more loose-leaf 3-ring binder journal style this upcoming year. I have tried many, many ways of storing cut-outs + ephemera and while I have an older video on that here - th-cam.com/video/_awY7_0xTeU/w-d-xo.html - my method has definitely evolved a lot more just over these past 2 weeks, especially since kicking off my end of year stashbusting challenge to stop storing things for later and actually use + make stuff with them. I will hopefully have some videos/blog posts out in the next few days to help with some of these things!
