I have been to Madrid and Spain quite a few times and have enjoyed every single one of them. Madrid, and Spain as a whole, are very well kept with major points of attraction for those who enjoy Western Europe history and culture. My favourite place in Madrid is the El Prado Museum. Barcelona, which is one of the major cities in Spain, is an urban jewel. I have been dreaming of walking the "Camino de Santiago", the french way, but so far I haven't been brave enough. I need to work on that but I'm not sure if I will live long enough.
