Dude so much value on this one, from hundreds of videos I’ve seen at this point about cold DM and cold outreach in general they don’t actually show examples and first principles to truly make a better approach when sending DMs. Love love the examples thanks for sharing this
i agree with all the points you said execpt the part where you said that the editor should've edited a free video for you, without even knowing that you even need an editor making a free video is not worth the time and efforts well i agree that sending a portfolio is not that good he should just send his relevant 1 or 2 edits he made which represent your content type

Show them something you can make for them, similar avatar utilizing it. And a roadmap
