Pune is very safe and secure city, but Government internal politics limits it's potential. 2 major projects like Foxconn SEMICONDUCTOR manufacturing project moved to Gujrat , Airbus AEROPLANE Manufacturing plant project also moved to gujrat , many software startups moved to ahemdabad ,only because of Politics.

Despite all this Pune has a higher GDP, GDP per capita, and at least 5 times more job openings in MNCS than Gujarat's largest city Ahmedabad, just imagine if Pune gets the same infra investments and political preference as Ahmedabad it has the potential to even cross Banglore

Still people think that Maharashtra is rich because of mumbai.! Maharashtra has many big cities like Pune, Nashik, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Sambhajinagar, Thane, etc. Just like pune the other mentioned cities also have the same potential but they are being neglected by the govt. from a long time. If govt. Focuses on overall development then Maharashtra will become a trillion dollar economy very soon. Jai Hind 🇮🇳 Jai Maharashtra 🚩

True , nagpur region has also potential , the mh govt. can develop another hyderabad in nagpur region . Even backward districts of mh has more potential . Pune and aurangabad(Chatrapati sambhaji nagar) can literally become another channai in automobile sector while pune can become better it city than banglore . Nashik also have huge potential . Backward districs also have better infra than rest of states which can be improved by govt. In tourism konkan also has potential . This things should be look by govt of mh to bring equal development and achieve 1 trillion economy goal . Even agriculture in pune division and marathwada should be promoted . Kolhapur also has potential in agricultural sector .

Finally someone admitted and made a video that Pune despite being more successful Metro than large state capitals is always seen as an underdog. Once the ring road and dedicated Airport is commissioned, Pune will come in the top 3 cities in India. It’s a city which accepts everyone very easily and there is no language barrier. It is so diverse that almost all cultures and festivals of different states are celebrated all year around and the best part is, we get to taste the food from all over our Bharat and the world. It is truly India within India.
It’s also very safe for Women as we see them travelling alone even after midnight. It has been ranked 2nd safest as well.
Thanks for covering Pune in detail.

A lot of businesses, investments, job opportunities come to Pune, but all are then used up the people not from Pune leaving Punekars a handful of opportunities.
It's not a problem of Pune but all the major cities of India.
Maximum of upcoming investments, businesses should be directed towards other like Nagpur, Nashik, Coimbatore, Rorkee, Trichy, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Indore, Chandigarh, Mangalore, Bhubaneswar, etc.

Development is utmost important in every city including those which are liveable today ( because of less industries untill now ) . Development is very important to support the employment generation. Balance between human settlement and industries development is what is required to be focused on , keeping the proper urbanization planning in place time to time. I have lived in pune for last 20 years and still in pune and being in working age category, I can surely say that what pune Administration and government is doing for its city right now is utmost important . Just need to keep the balance so as to address the economy and human settlement concern as well.

Pune still need more rapid infrastructure development to maintain the pace of increasing industrialization, traffic, population, inflation, polution etc.
PMRDA, PCMC and PMC has the critical role to play if we want Pune city to be unique example than other metro cities. This is the right time to act.

As someone who grew up in Pune, would say Pune never gets the due limelight against biggies like BLR, MUM, HYD, Chennai & DEL. In a way, it's underrated among the big cities of India. Pune has a unique combination Automobile & Software industry having equal presence. The city is not heavily dependent on one sector like BLR.
