They truly don't make games like this one anymore. One of those games you only bought because its big-box was bargain priced in the EBGames at the 1999 galleria. Which not only still sold PC games, but MOSTLY sold PC games, and indeed even sold non-game software like the Counterstrike Linux server in a box. And for $15 or $20 you got something that was truly beloved by a whole team of talented artists and designers, and maybe even educated your impressionable little mind a bit about history and stuff.
I beat this level by making my way down the cliff to the south-west part of the map where you have a wooden platform. Then I got all my crew in that platform where the only entrance is through the ladder, then i raised the alarm and every soldier start coming from that ladder and I just shoot everyone in the head because they're defenseless while climbing the ladder. I kept killing soldiers for hours and there were tons of them coming out of those tents. At a certain time, they gave up and I killed every single soldier in the map and just did my mission peacefully without disturbance. Felt like a genius when I finished this level my own original way :D
I have the driver shoot the enemies from outside the ``deep green'' zone and crouch after every shot. (preferably around the corner) I managed to kill them all in one hour :-)
I have to follow your idea to get the captured guard on the truck with driver to drive through the bridge. That great idea! I don't know that before. Also the idea to use the machin gun guy to distract the 3 patrolling guards below, Actually, after line them horizontally, I use sniper to kill this 3 guys, then I can escape with no alarm.
What pisses me off about this entry of the franchise is the fact You practically can't go guns blazing, hence the driver's rifle and sub-machinegun are borderline usesless. But overall it's an amazing game.
I remember when I played this, I caught a glitch in the game where all soldiers saw my driver and started shooting. But all of them were just short of hitting him so there was no harm to him. They would keep shooting oblivious to everything else. So, green beret and knife did the rest, then I completed the mission.

Instead of crossing the bridge I climbed down the cliff to the far left and worked my way from there till the cliff with the machine gunner. Sniper Ammo becomes more of a challenge if you do it like that.
Still wondering what's the purpose of the Driver bringing in 20 shots of SMG and an unlimited rifle in this and its previous mission? Loud tactics welcome?

I don't understand how you can finish this mission without hardly looking at the fields of view of the enemies and without saving 100 times. Is this really in a single playthrough?!? Also, you use techniques I didn't even know were possible. Hijacking the truck with a German soldier, using the sniper rifle to shoot a patrol of 3 soldiers without raising the alarm. Luring soldiers with the cigarettes, and then with the Commando's decoy. A-MA-ZING
There are so many unknown 'tricks' this guy uses. The game is totally different from how I play because I do it the 'hard' (naive) way. I'm wearing out the keys because of this game. LOL
Ur gameplay skill is perfect, cant bliv i spent lik 5h n about 100 load games 2 complete this mission n u only need 21min without even save @@, btw i didnt know we can use enemy soldier 2 driv cars till i c ur walkthrough, n i also 1 2 share 2 cool tactic that i use 1st, stand im the far view of enemy n then crawl down n go away then enemy with come to ur spot without alarming- then u can easily kill him 2nd, just let enemy lock on target to 1 of ur soldier n u can use green beret 2 sneak behind enmy n kill them easily
Yeah, I do that too. Quickly stand and go prone again. I think it only works with a single patrolling soldier though. I've noticed often (always?) that stationary soldiers, patrols with 3 or more soldiers, and patrols with dogs all immediately raise the alarm.
Actually, there's the Destination Paris mod for Men of Courage, which not only uses the sequel's graphics for BEH+BtCoD and even Destination Berlin missions, but also its gameplay.

@@foojam2002 this game is too difficult compared to Behind enemy lines And this game scores only time and damage taken So if the easiest and fastest way is to just shoot everybody then the score will reward that 💪
Outrageous that the Germans first thought of guided missile weaponry and other similar systems. Sure, their results varied, but their scare factor sure made a mark on the Allies and military history.
The reason I hate the mission is because at the start of the mission all of the commandos are in a spot with enemies walking right in front of the door and even exiting from that building without being seen is annoyingly difficult If we just started from one edge of the map like in all other missions then everything would be ok
