I am sooo, in love with these videos. you are a great actress. I was wondering if u can do a video on headshots & resumes for those with no experience, also like what to wear for headshots and what to wear to audition. make up or no make up ect... thanks Ang
Two worst things about working as background, which I only ever do because I'm broke and need the money... 1: the PA's reminding you how important you are to the production while giving you nothing to eat but water and cheetos, and 2: the delusional wannabe's who have never been on a set before and think this could be their big break, and insist on including you in their conversation as if you were just another delusional wannabe too, which you probably are... both of those completely destroy your ego, which is important to protect because you need the confidence when you actually have an audition.
my worst film experience was a lower budget film. I wasn't an extra but the supporting and main characters weren't seperate from the extras so we were all in 1 room. I did the film because it was in my hometown and I had a prinicple role. It was a high school themed movie and most of the extras were 15 or younger and you could tell. These kids were literally running in the halls playing tag and yelling and actually ruined some shots because they were so loud that it carried where they were shooting. These were also the same kids who only had done some theatre but were telling me how they were going to make it big while they had no intention of having acting classes because some other big celebrity got a huge break and they never had classes... SO annoying
wait so you know how background actors have to act like they're having a normal conversation, or doing something normal even though they're not the main focus? so do they actually talk or mime stuff? cuz i am so confused, if they talk, what are they supposed to talk about? like, do they make something up, or do they not talk at all? im just very confused lol
It varies from person to person! Sometimes you get into a real conversation with the person - and sometimes you're just counting to 100 and trying to make it look like real talk. The awkward part is that you have to talk VERY quietly or completely silently. So half the time, the other person doesn't even know what you're saying.

Thanks! Check out all my videos, I have a whole series about wardrobe, makeup etc for headshots, as well as making your resume.

I'm 16 and, I can tell you that these kids are very childish. We don't play tag anymore LOL.
I HAVE A BIG QUESTION? FOR A BACKSTAGE ACTING DO I WANT TO GIVE A AUDITION FOR THAT?

How do you get auditions without a resume, or any experience?
there's another video she has. But this video doesn't focus on that.
Central casting is overrated. It’s mostly for younger people.
