01-10-24 This looks like another great story, and brings a big smile to my face as I hear one actor whose voice I love - Ralph Bell ! A person’s voice can be very important when listening to stories and I think can make all the difference to a good story! These voice actors were well chosen! Loving this! Not too cold this evening, and am looking forward to enjoying a few pecan shortbreads from today’s baking, and a cold glass of milk !. I wrapped up a few cookies for myself - my husband loves them as much as I do, but I’ve learned to just slip a few into a little canister, in the back corner of the cleaning cupboard -just for me ! 😁 However, the cats have already smelled them, and I will have to fight them for the crumbs!. I’m all cuddled up in my favourite chair with a warm fuzzy blanket, part of which I also have to fight the cats for…..☺️ Oh well, they are well sated for now ( I hope), and will be busy cleaning themselves for awhile, and I can just sit back and listen to my story. Thank you again, Sir Edge, for stories like these, and I hope all those who have tuned in to listen tonight enjoyed the story as much as I have, and will have no trouble falling asleep tonight -- sweet dreams to all, and take care, everyone ! Sweet dreams to you both from me and my two cats, Stubby and Shorty. ❤🫠 I checked out your question re sitting versus lying down when reading or listening to stories. It said that when we lay down, a signal is sent to our brain that are bodies require sleep, and that’s why we start to feel sleepy when we lay down with a book or listening to a story or music. I need to be laying down if I want to sleep, like a nap, or I just can’t - no matter how tired I am. Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. I awoke just now because of a bad headache, but our weather has changed drastically since last night - colder here and the pressure has been affected. So I’m going to take a Tylenol and try for a few more winks now, hoping that saves the rest of the day for me. Hope your weather out there hasn’t set off a migraine for you. Hope you and Smokey have a good day, and see you this evening. Hope you have a very good day, my friend. 🙏❤
@@lynnrobinson8885Hi Lynn. I was so tired last night that I went to bed early. It's just been so cold. It's so supposed to rain heavily in Vallejo this weekend. Trust me, we need the rain so there isn't a drought. When I take Smokey out somewhere, he gets upset when I put him in a cat carrier. I'm thinking of getting a cat leash for him. I hope that you will have a blessed day and I will see tonight on the Mystery Theater channel ❤️
