Welp, never thought I'd be saying this but my final H2Oi Official After Movie is here. After covering this event for the last 8 years in a row I'm finally calling it quits. This event and the people that attended it helped make my channel to what it is today and I will be forever grateful for that. But for reasons I speak on in this film I need to step away from covering this event. This was the one weekend I knew I could always look forward to and feel at home around people of my own. I loved every aspect of it until the recent years when both attendees and OCPD starting to go over the deep end. What will I find to cover annually next, I'm not sure. Whatever it is I know it'll be amazing for me and my friends and I'll bring my own car to enjoy and cruise around in and bring it back to the 2013 vibes. Thank you all for watching these recaps over the years and giving me so much. I love you guys.

Annual Krispy Meet?
From the 13 year old kid who just happened to fall upon H2Oi vids to the now 21 year old I am today. These aftermovies will forever be what helped spark my passion in the automotive world. Thanks for all the laughs and fun Krispy, they'll never be forgotten. :')
I had a very similar experience. Around the same age, I found Krispy's coverage of H2O/SoWo/etc and I remember downloading the videos and watching them over and over on the plane and car rides to and from family vacations. Good times! And while I'm sad to see H2O go the way that it has in recent years, it did play a big role in getting me excited about cars and the people that build them.
I can relate to this so hard, but I'm only 20 :p

Before I started filming myself I remember binge watching all of the aftermovies that yourself, Koziel, Halcyon etc produced way back in 2014 and over the years - They have always been a huge inspiration for me and i know many others, and will be continued to watch as time goes on. Thankyou for all your time spent on these aftermovies man!

These videos were always inspiring and had me hype to go to H20i in years past. Sad to hear that things got out of hand with some participants and the local PD. Seems to happen to a lot of the big meets. I don't blame you one bit for moving on.

Not cheesy dude, exactly how I would describe it too! Krispy knows how to get the emotion, the personality, the atmosphere of an event into a video. It's impressive the way he tells the story makes it feel like you where almost there yourself. Its why I have loved these H20i videos for YEARS! I hope he finds another event similar to how H20i used to be back in the glory days, it sure looked like a blast!

Had to come back and rewatch all the og "after movies" of H20i from 2013-22. Looking at covid h20 is wild because 2020 and 21 were the the peek years, then after 2022 it was sad to see it kinda fade out.
The clip with the guy looking at his wrecked Audi through the fence hit me, to many times a tow truck driver has ruined my cars from their own stupidity and not caring. Sad to see people's hard work get thrown in an impound like that regardless of their actions that led up to it.
It's not sad it is part of the game you play when you do dumb stuff or build something that isn't 100% legal.

@@RLN13S I agree to an extent, in ocean city they don't care wether your cars actually legal or not at this point. If it looks modified and doesn't meet their insanely strict requirements your screwed. Even if it's not legal it doesn't give someone the right to treat your property like trash though. If a regular car was towed for what ever reason may it be parking in a tow zone and the driver dropped the car and broke the front bumper off I'm sure it wouldn't just be passed off as part of the game you play when owning a car.

truly sad to see, i've been going since 2014 and the takeover scene and police have ruined this event completely. I'm glad my girl got to experience it 2018 and 2019 because 2020 was just embarrassing. There will never be another event that brings together enthusiasts from around the world like h2oi again and that's depressing to think about. Not much we can do about it now either way, so I'll just be thankful for the 7 years of memories I have. It's been real homies :(
2018 was the first year I went and it was super fun and chill (where I was), but even 2019 was really a mess. Decided to skip 2020 because of COVID/police violence and it looks like I made the right call. Hope something can take its place and the sideshow kids can stay home.
@damian Monte Been watching your videos and haggards for years I started watching haggard in middleschool and I remember seeing h20i all over social media as a young lad😅 and watching Krispys aftermovies and I couldn't wait till I was old enough to go, I finally got to go this year with my friends at 19 I've always been into cars bikes anything with a motor since I was a little kid all though I don't have a cool car of my own yet(hopefully getting e30 or e36 soon been working my ass of and saving to afford a clean one) I'm glad I got all my closest car friends to go with me even though I took my pos 98 f150 down😅, it's sad to see what the take over bs has done to my local car community in nj and to h20i but im glad I got to go this year even through all the bs cops and dumbass people wise I still made great memories with my friends probably had one of the best weekends of my life, the whole experience was crazy how most people just came down to just chill look at cool cars have a good time and just all be friendly, it sucked that a couple bad eggs and an over stepping police force had to ruin the fun and crap on everyone including yourself(sorry your car got impounded) I hope for everyone's sake h20i doesn't completely go away because of it, hopefully next year the cops back off and the bad eggs stay home(I know it's prolly not gunna happen but it's nice to dream🤣)

I miss what this show used to be. I live in OC and most locals that I know don't like the show, but for me its the one time of the year that I'm always waiting for. I miss the fun that we used to be able to have for it. I work at ACME on 94th street and every time me and my parents hear a loud car we instantly think "was that H2o?" we are to the point of "come fuck it up and have so fun!" The Cars and Coffee meet every Sunday is another example of "I miss what H2o used to be."
We have a lot of humble people that come to this show and lot of people that just want to have a good time. I have the same passion as most of you have for the show, along with Krispy's explanation of what the show means to him. For those of you that are coming down for 2021 I hope we make it a good one. it's been way too long since we've had a really good H2o. Can't wait to see you all here!!!

If there's one youtube video I can say that I look forward to every year it's this one, even as a viewer from the last few aftermovies you can see the shift away from chilled car lovers weekend holiday to what we see now.

I give this event so much credit for getting me into the scene. I was 16 when I went to my first one and went for 3 years (2016, 17, 18) and had some friends to go with for 2018. Now THAT was crazy. We went full in with the stupid on my friends stock ass Mazda 6 with the painters tape words and everything. Cringy a bit when I look back but still fun. It was truly an amazing time. Of course it got crazier overall with more people, but it was an amazing time. Everyone says theres no event like it, and it's true. Theres no general car scene event around that gets this big. Shows are shows, and all the cruise weeks and stuff are for classics and specific brands etc. unless somehow a bunch of influences come together to make something happen I don't know. Not that they can rent out a city.

Year after year my brother had been watching your videos for almost a decade. 3 years ago he died in a car accident in his Integra. Why does this matter? Because him and I were inspired by your videos with your love of cars and filming. One of my best memories aside from working on our builds was the excitement we got when you’d upload a new video. I’m older now and drive an NSX. I very much miss him, but I look back to the past and smile at the memories.

Wasnt always like that. I ve been going to H2oi since 2014 and i never had issues with OCPD. Then again, i followed the local laws and didnt engage in the fuckery. But in the last few years, they have tried multiple things to clamp down on it and it seems like they definitely found what works to keep people away. After attending last year and seeing all the stupidity and crazy shit that went down, I can say I will not be returning to OC. Sad to see such an amazing weekend for the car community devolve into what it has become.
It really is. Last year I had to pay 1k to get my car out the lot plus another 150 to town it out since “ my car ain’t safe”
Just come to Germany and see how glorious it is here.... A festival like H2O is unthinkable.
The feelz! The tears! It’s was such and honor to find this channel and grown my love for cars with each video I watched! Being all the way in Oahu Hawaii, the car meets and cruises are somewhat like these videos, but I hope to go to a mainland event and see all this greatness with my own eyes.

Wow since 2017 I’ve had watched every after movie and those you have made in the past. It’s been my dream to go down to ocean city and spend those few days with my friends and experience what other people has experience. See others people’s builds and record those moments, and then seeing this last movie changes everything. I was planning on going this year but it looks like it won’t be possible after all I saw and the way H2oi is now it’s just heartbreaking. I will always enjoy your vids and these movies you brought us throughout all this years and I hope that it does change and we can all go back and enjoy what was once the best event of the year.

But why get the most cars towed away? I thought in the usa u dont got rules about tuning? I'm from germany so it's really different here.
For the most parts it’s fine almost anywhere in the states but there are laws around things like excessive camber, ride height, and how loud the exhaust is but it does vary depending on where you go and how much the police actually care to enforce such laws.

I'm so happy I was able to trailer my red e36 to H2oi all the way from Arizona a few years back and get to experience what it's like cruising the legendary strip and getting the chance to film with Halcyon! Been watching h2oi videos since I was a sophomore in 2012. So sad to see h2oi get ruined. You did an amazing job on this video and capturing the aspect of H2oi just like you have for the past 8 years!

The heavy police presence , crowds getting stupid instead of just having fun, impound after impound for any and all reasons...as a car lover it spoils the vibe and as a filmmaker it makes the job of making something unique, impossible. Have been watching these videos since 2013 when I was only 13, now about to be 20 I'm finally in the situation to go to h20i with my own car for the first time this upcoming year and wont be able to see Krispy. Just breaks my heart these videos have always been a safe haven for me in sorts but at the same time I'm glad Krispy is stepping away possibly ill be able to go to a new event that he films and possibly even be featured.
