Forgot to mention the security features like when the scooter is stolen. After the stolen scooter is reported and the thief uses the swapping station, the swapping station will detect the battery of the stolen scooter and will automatically disable the scooter. Not sure how but probably the station will not release a new pair of batteries for the stolen scooter.
That's a great idea. It will have to be priced low so delivery drivers can earn a living. I like the idea that the scooter platform is being used by multiple companies so that further reduces production costs.
I've watching Yulu closely, and they've started renting spaces in Delhi for battery swapping centres. This is definitely the future. I think we'll have cloud swapping centres catering to multiple brands, just like cloud kitchens. Some for the smaller batteries, and then some centres for the bigger batteries.
Gogoro is not a plug in vehicle. Only way to charge it vie doing swap. It is going to make you under their control totally. And i don't like concept of lock-in eco system

@@carswithkaran just look at their plans in Taiwan then only you can understand how bad lock-in can be. They will control how many kilometres you can ride. And electricity prices are also on them to decide what they going to charge. Atleast with plug-in i can charge in my home on my unit charge.

Simple! get higher density of swapping stations with more no of batteries per station. Sometimes the problem is not as complicated as you make it to be.

I can pay 100 rs per day.. if it is available in Bangalore
There's space for 2 more batteries maybe then the range would double.
do you need 200km of range on a scooter though?
Sure. But that also means more weight.
I like how it looks like. Much better than other EVs
But this is a direct import. We hope the experience is the same with an Indian localised product.
We can charge batteries in our home or it is necessary to charge in this base
i hope this concept really workout. very realistic approach.. just like how bounce infinity is doing the same in bengaluru.
yeah but i feel the issue with bounce is going to be scalability and i really hope gogoro doesn’t have that issue
The swap system if done right can work really well.
Plz bring this to ASsam Tezpur this service

What if the swap station has all the battery slots full ? Does it give two battery first and then allow you to put in the empty batteries ?
it can never be full, there’s always two empty slots. you put in two batteries in those slots and two charged ones come out, the cycle continues
