    Thank you Captain Mike! Been enjoying your videos especially the Microwave kiln ones. I'm in the process of making one using Silica Carbide that I crushed from a sharpening stone and applying it with sodium silicate I made a while back. Couldn't believe it when i seen that temperature go up. It needs a bit of adjusting but the principle worked really well, chuffed as I love to diy things regardless if I can afford them and this way I can make as many microwave kilns as big as I want without going bankrupt.
