Hey all, sorry this one is late - I had an annoying copyright dispute in regards to background music that I've since removed and re-uploaded now using CO.AGs music. It's annoying because I literally have the license for it but I suppose it is what it is. In any case, this was one of the disappearances that strays to the more unusual side of things, especially because of the reporting / some of the things that were said. You'll have to let me know what you think.

There was a man (edit his name is Steven Callahan) who survived like three months alone lost at sea. In order to cope and survive, he divided his consciousness into two people; the sailor and the captain. The captain would bark orders at the sailor, and the sailor would comply and do what needed to be done, constantly being shouted at by the captain. He said it helped him survive because all he wanted to do was lie down and just die, but the captain wouldn't tolerate it, so he created two personalities. It gives credence to the claims of dissociation.

When I saw the title of your video, I assumed that it took place in Iceland or Scandanavia, because folklore there recognizes the huldufolk (hidden people), somewhat similar to the fey in Ireland and the djinn in Arab cultures. There are apparently similar concepts in South America to what you described in Malaysia too. If you want to do a video on this topic, see if you can find Rosemary Guiley (since deceased) speaking about the fairies in Celtic cuture with the djinn in Arab folklore (they are very similar). She wrote a book on this topic in 2013.

What you told in the last segment, about the psychology of imaginary companion after they mentioned they were taken care of by "beautiful people," I don't know either if it's just children, but I remember a case in the concentration camps in my country, there was this adult woman in her 20s, who was tortured by these soldiers, and one of the chiefs had a special treatement with her, she said she used to see him as this handsome and beautiful man who looked dressed like a prince and he would talk to and take care of her, and she honestly started to think he cared for her. Then, as she survived the tortures and was released, she saw pictures of him in media and stuff, and she couldn't believe she thought he was beautiful. She even said she thought he had different eye and hair color, but it was the same, she just thought she saw something completely different when he had her captive. Seems similar to stockholm syndrome, I guess.

I’m more worried about the state of this private school it sounds more like a orphanage obviously beaten and abused they choose to run into a forest instead of face an adult for swimming just consider that for a min that’s the real crazy part of this story without mentioning all the weird things that happened to these children.

The teacher thought that the children were running away from school and get back the their homes and their parents hide them and refuse to returned them to school. The teacher doesn't believe that the children are missing because they are Orang Asli (indigenous people) children which is known very familiar with the jungle and the area and can easily find their way home. Orang Asli lived their whole life in the jungle.
Only to realise later on that they are really missing and call the authorities for SAR.
