@@peterhammer6915gawad had his own sense in being creative at the game. Dessouky is more of a power hitter than creative (i don't mean he's not good) hesham has a strange double swing at every shot which is indeed quite interesting and exciting. He's got that touch of midas to his shots. Elias is more of a defensive(wait see and attack) type of player
Squash is so much fun to play, more fun than tennis. But squash is not a great spectator sport, tennis is a great spectator sport which is why it is far more popular than squash. Squash is popular in places like Indonesia, Pakistan, and Egypt in which there have never been a top tennis player from any of those countries.
+Bradley Whipple....I guess it depends on the definition of "Spectator Sport", I actually feel it is a great spectator sport...BUT only for a few people, Tennis has the grand stadiums so I know what you mean. Tennis also has different surfaces for the Grand Slams which add a different element which is pretty cool. I played tennis growing up in America but switched to Squash as I got older...Squash is by far, again IMO, the greater game. I can watch these matches because I love the game, it's perhaps hard to watch if you don't play.
the intimacy of squash's small spectator space makes squash a memorable spectator sport ,your closeness to the arena and players with more of a chance to spend a few moments with them can more readily make for moments that remain a very pleasent lifelong memory ! this is aided by most of the squash players ,gentleman and ladies ,being very humble, friendly and approachable !
Wish we could have seen more of these two players competing against each other at the top of their games.
I love watching both these two as much as anyone in the sport. Wonderful that they can rally like this in spite of a 13-year age difference.
Squash needs more creative players like these two
Come on.. Gawad, Hesham, Dessouky and Power's own protege- Elias?
@@danielbrett247 would not say of those are close to Ramy or Power in creativity.
@@peterhammer6915 nostalgia factor influencing a bit here, I feel.
