If you like carrying around a 12v car battery you might get a few hours talk time, if it didn't drop out. Pagers were in wide use. I had 2. anything in relation to whatever ( self imposed senssor there ). They played this true life event so well. If you had a desire to try to amuse 'and who didn't', you could vary this material from FF, make up anything & say it to the recipient, cracking both up or they would come back with an even more wittier comeback. Either way it helped to get through the day. - Back In The 80's-
