The Morning After the Fire

Woke before 6 am to a peaceful, quiet, clear sky & wet ground. The storm brought us rain! The air smells & feels much better. All is still. We aren't seeing any smoke although I'm sure the firefighters are still on site keeping things under control. Let's wish for calm & gentle winds today!

Sunrise. The smoke in the air has made for lots of pretty sunrises, sunsets & even just clouds during the day. Sad the reason they are so pretty is due to a fire but it's pretty just the same!
