Yeaaaa... When I saw the 2018 one, I was just feeling off the ground from how empoweringly awesome it was, all the way from amazing lightshow, set up, songs, transitions.. EVERYTHING! But it's a new year, a new endshow.. And o-boy is it a massive disappointment... Aghhh!! The frustration! Okay well what's wrong with it: -Absolutely horrendous light show. There is seriously not enough lights there that would give an amazing feeling and effects that the 2018 end show gave. When you listen to "hardcore" you want to feel like the word is falling around you. That's why going to a concert like this should focus a whole lot on lights because it has nothing else to offer apart the loud music arena. So failing ONE of the BIGGEST keys to what makes this so special and amazing to even watch at home is just completely destroyed. (Flickering building lights a whole song entry ? wow took ya lot of effort to make that..) -The song mixing: HoH: "Hello, would you like out 2019 song playlist?" < that's how it felt like. There is ABSOLUTELY no transitions that nowadays quite a lot of other song mixers have involved in their music. Have you heard of Extreme audio episode 81 ? That's what I call transitions. No but seriously this was even more disappointing than the light show. -Hardcore pauses feature...?: So in a hardcore scene, now we got pauses between songs and the guy talking with a deep voice in between those. Who had the idea to implement the end show like this? Please fire them. (Oh and braging about the ultimate hardcore feeling, yeah right..) -Lower budget: Everything in this scene looks.. Cheeply made to be honest.. All the way from the lights to possibly terrible setup all around. (Even the scene doesn't look.. smooth or that nice, or hardcore themed..) -2018: Do I even need to mention this? This "2019" end show is marginally WORSE in every way than what we had the prior year. And I don't even know why were the decisions made like this. - Songs: I'm pretty sure most of us can agree that there are some songs (And there aren't that many in this 20 min end show) that are truly not hardcore at all.. Who ever made this, lost the touch of what hardcore is, I think. Because constantly switching between hardcore/xtra raw/rawphoric without transitions makes this an utter mess. You quickly lose the hardcore feeling because of the soft song entries that are always there for every song. Nobody has to agree with this, but I really had to rant about how unbelievably terrible this was.
