Mahama’s Chief apologist, Sampson Lardi, inserted himself in the conversation by saying he knew the law regarding the formation of quorum in parliament. Whereupon Osei Kyei let Sampson know that he knew less than nothing

My examples to show that Sampson is Mahama’s lap dog are many. One of such examples is when Sampson rushed to Mahama’s defense during the “do or die” comment. Osei kyei speaks so arrogantly as if he owns parliament. This is the main reason why the budget was thrown away. Bagbin should stay in Dubai i till December 31. They can let Joe wise preside then he can’t vote. It’ll 137-137 then we’ll see. Kyei wants to disrespect Bagbin and act as if they’re on same level.
He’s attacking Sampson for nothing. He should rather go attack their drunkard secretary who was busy drinking when general was organizing his party MPs in parliament
If the speaker is out of the country Joe Wise can continue as speaker . If they vote and it is even , the vice president is needed to vote and break the even for majority to move on .

@@reuru113 The problem was the presence of Asiedu Nketia but not the budget itself . The speaker asked non MP's to get out of parliament but Asiedu Nketia refused to go out . This was why the majority left the chamber of parliament .

Minister of finance should freeze the speakers salary. Simple. Who told you taxing remittance will stop us sending money? You just don't want any developments in the country, you been selfish. Ghana have long way to go if these people are leaders, stomach driven crying on small taxes yet spend millions of cedis with their girlfriends.
It will not stop people from remittances, but it will enable other channels of sending money to increase. Gathering the money and giving it to someone going home or dealing with businessmen. In any case, it’s naive to think the borga and momo tax will bring development. What did they tell us when we discovered oil?
