  • In today’s video I go over my new Klein CL800 meter. I’m very grateful to be able to purchase my first meter & can’t wait to share it with you guys. I go in detail about all of the specs and give you a full review and why I chose it. With that being said I hope everyone enjoys the video & see you in the next one!

Thanks for the review. I can't see paying a lot more for a Fluke when the Klein is just as functional. Current Anazon price is $116 on 8/9/24. That's about the cost of dinner for two at a modest restaurant these days. I've read Fluke can charge a premium because many government contracts specify testing with Flukes, but I haven't verified that.

@@Metal_seer Thanks for the support Brother! I Love Klein meter, the only reason I was able to purchase the Fluke meter I currently have is because they had it a the pawnshop brand new for 180. Thanks for the support again & Glad you Enjoyed the Video!👍🏽

Great video. Keep up the good work! Just a heads up, you have some sort of audio distortion in your mic signal. It almost sounds like a clicking hard drive.

Thank you Brother! I’ll check it out and see if it’s something that I could fix. Thanks again..

quick question. I just got one of these and I need to know if I can use it to figure out the length of some spools of wire. I have 4 spools of 750 mcm and need to figure out how much is left on them. They started out as 1500 foot spools but the guys who made the last cuts didn't mark down how much they cut. Is it possible to use this tool to figure that out? if so, what settings should i use? Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out, I’ve only done it twice but from my understanding, you set your meter to OHMS. Put your leads on each side of the wire, Get your code book Go to Chapter 9, Table 8 Conductor properties & Look to the right side were it says Direct Current Resistance at 75c.. You should be able to find the exact answer using that table.. Hope everything works sorry for getting back to so later! Let me know how it goes!

Going through your meter when you show A you said that was ALTERNATiNG CURRENT!! NO it is Amperage AC and DC, so when you make a video to teach others, PLEASE know what you are talking about. I am trying to learn this exact meter and wehn you got to the A ac/dc and said it was "ALTERNATING CURRENT" it was disturbing you were teaching anything.
