I saw them at Falls Festival 2023 Fremantle, Western Australia. Probably 2-3 thousand people there
People hating on this don’t like when a band changes their style. This is epic and shows that DMA’s aren’t afraid to expand on their genre and produce a third record that is identical to the last two.
I like the tune but I don’t recon the whole album will be of this vibe. Silver and hello girlfriend sound like their first 2 records. Which ain’t a bad thing

antn1b yeah it was pal but it wasn’t on hills end was it. Point I’m making is as much as I’d love the record to be in this direction I don’t think it will. Silvers the lead single of glow. Only heard a live version of hello girlfriend but I imagine the studio version won’t be too different. I hear Liam Frey is gonna be working with them in the near future on a more ‘dance’ sounding record.
The band know what they're doing! They're far too talented to stick to the same formula! I think The Glow is going to satisfy those who want the rock and those who want a bit more than the usual, tastes of listeners evolve over time aswell so DMA'S will cater to all I reckon! ;)

I agree fully. I just love it when they do the uplifting chorus as it just lifts one up creates a nice feeling like flying freely through the airwaves! Love that feeling and I’m quiet sure other fans feel the same. 😋
Bit more melancholy some bits but it's got some uplifting bits as well. But I love In The Air, and that is similar being a bit of a sad song. They r just brilliant anyway like u say

I moved from Thailand to the UK and they were the first band I saw live there. And now they release this Thailand-themed video showing the people of the country in such a cool, fresh way. I'm all for it!
Is lived in Pattays 2006 to 2009. Moved back to the UK neckar the private schools fees were costing £25,000 a year. Love this song it relates a lot to me.

I didn't like it the first time I heard it, now it's one of my favorite DMA's songs. Class stuff.
It’s always healthy for bands to ‘evolve’ and change their sound, bands need to change their sound to stay relevant . It’s taken a couple listens but I’m absolutely delighted that you lads have done this. It’s got Madchester vibes (sort of new order), and the lyrics and vocals are brilliant. Cannot wait to see where this takes you.

@@benh4544 yeah it does I was around then, especially the remixes the bands was doing at time and they wouldn't just send it to a top house dj , well they would for one of the remixes but they would also remix one themselves and house it up cos the dancey vibe got swept into guitar music it had too otherwise guitar music would have Been as popular as black metal in ibiza, so yeah DMAS have done the same this sounds like indie you can dance too on a Thursday night but wren you hear the remixes of this that sound even more Manchester 1989/1994 there sound like 5 Es a g of sniff and a nice rave up in a feild somewhere near Shropshire, its all total madchester, they have even said themselves minas guitar player he into dinesour Jnr, sonic youth, but especially Tommy is well into the roses and the verve all the cool bands and they all like dance, anyway DMAS best band in the world 💯👌
