That choir is all Adrienne Cowan and one other guy. They recorded her voice 30-40 separate times to achieve the choir.

Adrienne Cowan: she sings, she belts, she screams, she growls, she is a choir by herself, she composes orchestrations.
    She's such an exceptional musician.
And not only her in this band!

Great reaction you two. I love the fact that Seven Spires takes its inspiration from late romantic classical music.
    Keep rocking...looking forward to more.

The resolutions to major chords and plagal cadences(the church harmonies) are SO fulfilling in this one.

Great reaction! This song is exceptional. I discovered this band recently and have loved everything they have done. They have a lot of clean sung songs and some with growls and the female vocalist, Adrienne Cowan does all of it, as well as the orchestral arrangements. She is also the primary songwriter, with the guitarist who helps. The whole band is so talented though. They have great songs with videos too. Just a wonderful band who make very beautiful and emotional music.
Stuff like Succumb, Bury You, The Unforgotten Name are all great if you like the clean singing! I love the growls personally too which you can find on songs like Gods of Debauchery, The Cursed Muse, and Drowner of Worlds.

Thanks for reacting to these guys . Great band . As you can tell Adrienne also has an amazing growly voice as well ( check out the song paradox as well . )

Seven Spires are one of my favorite bands, and this is one of my favorite of their songs! Thanks for reacting to it!
They’re a great live band too by the way - I saw them in April. Not sure if they have any live videos on TH-cam but their music videos are also amazing

Seven Spires - Gods Of Debauchery next please! This band deserves exposure, and Adrienne Cowan is touched by destiny. She will conquer the metal world.

The orchestration is composed by the band's vocalist Adrienne Cowan. She is almost the female version of Dani Filth

To preface, the song I initially requested by them, S&T had done on a OF video or something, and being that I love kamelot, new and old, and God's pf debauchery is gonna be the one everyone else does, this was my next choice. I request rarely, but when I do, I try to get in a good variety of impressive elements, songs that fewer channels cover, and I tend to ignore whether or not there is a video as it's about the music.

@@jamestalkington6306 I heard Gods of Debauchery over on Old Skule Nerd's channel, his first listen, my first listen. And I said nice metal band, some snarky comment. And boy did I underestimate them. Thanks for requesting them this band deserves way more attention!

Years ago, I discovered a cool vocalist posting a cover of one of my favorite Dimmu Borgir-songs called The Serpentine Offering on her TH-cam channel, and I got intrigued by her voice! So I checked out the debut album of her band, and all though I totally enjoyed it took a long, long time before I got it under my skin. Then I heard that they were releasing a new album after new year 2020, and this album became something special, as the pandemic hit with uncertainty and craziness, listening to Emerald Seas on my evening walks kept me sane through it all!and with Gods of Debauchery they even took it a quantum leap forward! Thank you Seven Spires, the art you guys create is hard to describe with words🖤

They were a fantastic find this year on the Dragonforce tour. Stellar musicians. Wait till you hear Gods of Debauchery, Oceans of Time, the new album is filled with great songs. That breakdown in the middle of this song when she speaks is an intro at the start of their latest album leading into Gods of Debauchery. I haven't been such a fan of a band since UTA. As for the growls/uncleans, Adrienne, the lead singer, is the only person I legit love unclean vocals from- it's completely her ability/tone/enunciation and how she uses it to tell the story.

One of my other reactors recently saw them open on the DragonForce tour. And he did a reaction to something completely different, Gods of Debauchery. And I did a deep dive. And they can do just about anything. But suck, Just saying! Great reaction, do more Seven Spires please, anything. They're wonderful!

Yeah, Lightbringer as well is a slick track side note I have found the heaviest Symphonic metal song ever; Mermaids by Ignea & Ersedu it's like holy crap heavy right out of the gate just death metal and heavy and it's a woman. Yeah Adrienne is a really good new fav composer who went to the top after seeing her live with dragon force my ringtone is Succumb by her lol Bumped Nightwish she is just so freaking talented and dedicated to music super awesome.

Well that was fun! Really was.
One little comment (sorry) Roy Khan WAS the vocalist of Kamelot. He was replaced by Tommy Karevik in 2012. You know him from Ayreon (opposition leader)
Here's a link to a live performance with Tommy, Elize Ryd (Amaranthe) and Alyssa White-Gluz (no introduction needed I,m guessing LOL)

My fav band of this generation Kamelot is no doubt their influence but they are so dedicated and refined that all that they drop is all darkness and witchcraft charged! I cant even! You Must check their (TH-cam only) Dark Jazz arrangements and the music video of Gods of debauchery because it is a statement. I get you don't need the video, I.E. the most profound UTA songs don't have a music video due to the length IMO. so is the case of every legendary band out there.

To make the best, most favorable comparison I can, that was Babymetal-level drumming. Good grief! (As it goes on.... maybe it's even harder???) Rock on, guys...! 🤘😳👍

Adrienne Cowan, the vocalist and growler, is also the composer, and a fan of Nightwish, Epica, Dimmu Borgir and other symphonic metal and black metal bands.
