For any future Chandra users, Awakened Inferno's [-3] is supposed to deal 3 dmg to each Non-Elemental creature, not each opponent. My brain was like "Wait... that seems bad... oh, nevermind."

Right around 27:20 , Stephen even says he had no other enchantments to play. So him playing the extra land to play the enchantment creature and wipe the board changed the entire game. Jeremy still would have had his commander and Cory would still have his afflict sliver.
because people will pay for it, they do market analytics to "know" that this is true, and so the price increases, and this will occur in your life in every aspect of it, forever, people pay millions of dollars to the bean counters to figure out how much they can raise the price of.. well anything, every year, or to shrink the size of a product "Shrink Flation" its called.

Editor/Director should maybe step it up and do more than just track life totals....the amount of games that get out of hand due to the players not understanding or executing rules interactions properly takes a good bit of the fun out of the show in my opinion
Maybe the director is equally or worse at grasping the basic magic rules and interactions to the cast? I think starcity games should invest some of their revenue into bringing ACTUAL mtg players with mtg backgrounds onto the show so us viewers can watch interesting games
you know what would be funny against the planeswalker deck The Elderspell 2 mana Destroy any number of target planeswalkers. Choose a planeswalker you control. Put two loyalty counters on it for each planeswalker destroyed this way

He plays alot of blue green and he plays simple big bombs when I can. I've seen it at my tables Dragon decks, Simic decks, big drops people will target before they can drop bombs.

It honestly sucks a lot of the fun out of this series when the same guy seems to get bullied every game, even on incredibly weak board states.
Just more proof to me that Zhulodok is too much of a glass cannon. You have to play a 6 mana commander that does nothing and hope it survives till the next turn to cast something for 7 or play it and a 7+ cost card in the same turn to get the double cascade. And they filled the deck with mana rocks and X cost creatures so the chances of you wiffing on half your cascades is too high.
Precon was built terrible. All the X spells in a cascade deck. What an idiotic design. The deck is powerful. But you have to take out 20 cards to make it playable. You don't even need expensive replacements. Skittering cicada is unreal. Cast first spell for 7, then cascade into 6 or 4 CMC spells. It gets +17. Then since you cascade into Heddon archive you go for another spell. I had the cicada at 25/25 trample. And it's a 3cmc card that provides flash.
Yeah I wasn't sure at first but he plays the omen of the hunt, then resolves the khalni and goes to 6 lands. Plays a plays and then later the tainted wood. Definitely a mistake
Agreed, we have Commander Masters coming out this week, then Wilds of Eldraine next month followed by Doctor Who the following... LOTR set came out late june... its almost a new release every month and pretty much ever set has 4 precons... its just way too many. It's too much to process as a player regardless of what level you're at between casual to pro.
I am SOOOOOO tired of seeing Jeremy getting zeroed down. Especially from Corey, who destroyed the fun by never playing a social game. I love Jeremy, but I wouldn't blame him from stepping back from the show. I personally would have left seasons ago.
Lots of mistakes in this video. Gameplay quality has dropped a lot in the last couple seasons. I uunderstand you all have other responsibilities to SCG/life and may not have the time to learn about your decks/particular cards but it's getting to the point where it looks like ya'll just show up because you have to. I will say Jeremy did some questionable things (play Mystic Forge when he had 6 to cast his commander, attacked with Kaldra and left himself completely open) and after a while you have to recognize Corey is going off a 1v1 background and won't try to politic, so why are you trying to reason with him? It's episodes like this that make me miss Justin a lot, he kept Stephen's wildcardness at bay (reason will prevail!)
I am really disappointed with the play of this episode. Letting Stephen just wreck the board unimpeded. Teaming up on Jeremy. Not knowing what Decimate does?! Guys, get it together!
Ah, another week where Stephen and John work together and Jeremy gets targeted and grouped up on while doing nothing. John just flies under the radar by doing 'nothing' while playing everyone else like puppets. At this point, it doesn't matter what Jeremy plays because he gets targeted. It doesn't matter what John plays, because Stephen and him work together every episode and Corey falls into their goading way too much. Again, people not reading cards is insane. I'd get one or two mistakes, but how are they not learning to read the cards? It's like this show has just stopped caring or listening to anyone that isn't in the show. The background music is annoying and pointless. The 'Politics' have died off and are now just Stephen and John working together while Corey falls into traps and Jeremy dies. This is yet another episode I skipped to see the results and I don't even know why. I just feel bad for Jeremy at this point. Spends most of the time being targeted despite not being the threat and the rest sitting and watching everyone else get to actually play their decks. If this was the type of table I played at, I'd have left.

The Anikthea deck is somehow the most powerful deck, I’ve seen it played now several times and it just dominates.
