- Cabbage and Tomato chutney : tastes great with Rice , chapati, roti, idli, dosa, vada .. and with all other Indian breakfasts . you can also make this without tomatoes and you can also add some coriander and ginger if you want. You can keep it in the fridge and use it for 4 to 5 days.
CABBAGE AND TOMATO CHUTNEY
Ingredients :
Cabbage : 1/2 medium sized cabbage
Tomatoes : 1 to 2
Green chillies: 10 to 12
Coriander seeds: 1 tablespoon
Cumin seeds: 1/2 table spoon
Garlic cloves : 5 to 6
Tamarind : approximately 2 whole tamarind
salt: approximately 2 teaspoons
for tempering :
Mustard seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
urid dal: 1 teaspoon
Garlic cloves: 6 to 8
red chillies : 3 to 4
curry leaves: some
