- For our Chicago Travel Guide, we're going to show you 25 things to do and see. Chicago is the third most populous city in the United States with over 50 million visitors a year and is situated alongside Lake Michigan with the Chicago River running through its heart. If you like architecture, attractions, museums, parks, great food and plenty of outdoor activities, you'll love Chicago.

This list is amazing!!! As a fellow Chicagoan I am proud to say this is LEGITTTTT!!! Personally I have almost done everything on this list, but I should really make it a goal to do it all! Great for people who live in the city and don't know what's good to do. Highlights are DEEP DISH and ITALIAN BEEF! Clearly all about the food!

Chicago is such a fun city, and sadly I haven’t been back in years! Thanks for sharing so many awesome tips! I use to live in Southern Illinois and have only been there a few times.
Hopefully you get back soon. We are usually usually once a year at minimum. It really is a fun city.
Live music, music fest and street musicians is also a must see in the city.

Down here in Dallas there is a guy that buys folks pizza for christmas and they alway buy from Giordanos in Chicago! Every year we get a nice reminder of the "second city"!

Wow, thank you! We're a small channel, but we try our best! Still so much to learn though. Wisconsin is on our list. We've been to Kenosha and Madison (to buy curds and other cheese goodies 😂), but want to visit more and for longer.
Sorry Guys.. I couldn’t join for the premier as I was down with body ache as I took my second dose of vaccine yesterday. Anyways, it’s really helpful to organize my trip to Chicago this October. I was in Chicago couple of years back and I couldn’t see much at that time! Amazing list of things to do! It’s most diversified city. It has things to do for everyone! Nice video! 😊👍👍👍
No worries Suri. We have tried figuring out different days and times. We aren't sure when they are exactly good for anybody. We were almost late for it too! That said, it really is an amazing city. Feel better! Rest and hydrate!

Thank you! Took us a few trips to get most of the footage. This was not one trip! Can you imagine making a video on NYC? Chicago is easily our favorite city after home. So much fun stuff to do there.

We have been to Chicago several times but have only done about half of these. We had dinner at Giordano's and loved it! There really is so much amazing architecture here. Hope we get to return soon to see the things we have missed on the list in person. Thanks for sharing this!

Y'all crammed a TON of stuff into this one! Never knew Chicago had so much to see & do. Last time I flew in there was about 10 years ago & it was like -40°, snow piled up everywhere. All I saw was the airport, my hotel & the conference room.😜
We go usually at least once a year. It's so much fun. Plus we have two friends there. But man, yeah, when it snows there, it is pummeling, relentless and frigid. Next video will be 500 things to do in NYC. Kidding, for now ...

I would love to travel to Chicago one day, it has always seemed like a fascinating city to me. That preserves a historical past but very contemporary at the same time. With your video you have made me even more want to go there 😍👍
We try to visit once a year, because it's not so terrible a trip from New York. There is so much to do, for all kinds of people, and I know one day you will get to visit!
Googling some of these options, the kayaking tours seem cool (found them looking at boats), a pity they probably won't be open in October when I go. Still some nice ideas.
Definitely don’t count yourself out yet! I’d contact the outfitters. October is still doable. It will obviously depend on how cold it’s gotten by then, but I’ve been to Chicago in mid November and it was in the 70s still.

15 down. 10 to go. Also check out the Museum of Science & Industry and the DuSable Museum. Wow. The view from the 94th floor of the Hancock is even better than the Sears, because you can get more of the skyline in one view. Just insane. Malnati’s totally wins deep dish, too. And +1 on cheese curds!
That museum and the view atop Hancock is on our list! We go at least once a year to Chicago. I don’t remember which deep dish we liked more, but they were definitely tasty. Cheese curds!

Wow, Chicago looks amazing. I love the high rises and the wonder wheel 😁 There is so much to do, that is great. We love visiting places when there's a lot to do. We try to do it all lol. How long do you recommend staying? Is the food expense? Did you stay at a hotel or Airbnb? Are accommodations expensive?
If you pack each day with stuff, in a four day weekend you can get a lot done. A week is a good length though. Food is slightly cheaper than NY. We did Airbnb and stayed with friends. Your best bet is to find something out of the loop (downtown) but near the L to get there easily. We stayed along the red line north of downtown. Downtown hotels are expensive!

You shouldn’t go to most cities for that reason alone. Houston, Nashville, Tampa, Jacksonville, Raleigh, Dallas, Kansas City, Austin, Memphis, are the worst. Hell, Texas is swarming these days. The list is endless. Gotta go to the strongholds in California and Arizona. Bakersfield, Fresno, Mesa, Phoenix. Fine desert air and no bull.
