This horror direction for the Hulk has been popping off since Immortal Hulk. Also, looking forward to seeing more of Charlene.

I’m glad to see this issue didn’t forget or ignore what happened. Hulk has every right to be pissed at Banner.
Honestly, this Mother of Horrors, it wouldn’t be as much of a problem if Banner and Hulk were working together side by side. So the current antagonism should be of help for the the story.

Yeah.... I dislike when all it takes is a random new villain showing up, and EVERY tangentially related character is supposedly switched to villainous.
Sure, a certain subset (e.g., werewolves can be argued as having roots shared with Vampires and Werecats on the basis wolves, bats, and cats are all mammals), but c'mon... everything that falls into the category of 'monster'?

Ok now THIS is immediately more gripping than the last run. So many interesting moving parts to this and its clearly connected to the immortal hulk run. Hulk just works extremely well with horror and gore elements. I felt like the last one kinda completely steered away from that storyline to do its own thing and it took hulk a step back in my opinion. You can still kinda see the effects of that leaking over into this storyline unfortunately tho with Bruce and Hulk at odds again (and more than ever it feels like). Hopefully Hulk isn't actually hulking out and killing people. It woulda been really cool to see them tackle this new threat together, instead of at odds, with Bruce's brain and Hulk's muscle. Besides that tho, this feels like its gonna be an extremely EPIC storyline! A new and intimidating supernatural threat? Hulk being hunted by all of the creatures of the night? This is gonna be good!

At the start of the astronaut hulk run, I didn't like it much, but I definitely like this run. This looks sick and seems like a fun ride
That story undid immortal hulk ending where banner was reborn and look like he an all hulk persona were going be working all together as one

Of course the Mother and her children do seem to have some history with the Green Door. Which honestly is perfectly justifiable for anyone to be afraid.

A shame how Donny had to leave, I hope for the best when it comes to him, but Phillip K.J. just comes swinging with this issue, it's so dramatic and awesome, plus Nic cline on anything is a seller for me, genuinely intrigued in how is hunting Hulk (Or Bruce? Or both?) This time, the Elder is cool and I love a nice blend of horror and superheroics

4:10 This comic defies the laws of physics. I know I'm overanalyzing but .. Charlie fell into the hole that was created from the church collapsing and the Hulk was able to run back, jump in the same hole, and grab Charlie before she hit the ground. That's impossible. Everything, in the absence of wind resistance, whether it's a leaf or a 1,000 lb rock, falls at the same speed which is 9.8 m/s². That said, the Hulk weighs about 1,000 lbs while Charlie looks to be about 100 lbs. Nevertheless, this doesn't mean that the Hulk falls faster. Since Charlie fell into the hole first, she would've hit the ground first which means it would be impossible for the Hulk to jump in that hole, grab her, and then spin around so that his back absorbs the impact from the fall.

Man, I'll have to give this issue a read. I like Donny Cates a lot and adore his run on Venom, but I wasn't too big a fan of how his Hulk run basically veered off the development of Hulk and Banner from the previous Immortal Hulk run. This, though, seems like a true spiritual successor, with the horror and strong ties to Ewing's lore of the Green Door.
Gotta say, I'm definitely diggin' this new take on Hulk!

I like how Marvel is confirming that the Hulk truly is the son of The One Below All. But I don't understand how and why the Green Door is closed. The Hulk needs to travel back to the Below Place to see what's happening there.
