You gotta love these toilets. My grandparents had two cadets of this gen in their old house, one was dark blue and the other was white. I just got a white 1952 2nd gen Cadet for free the other week. I cleaned it up, replaced pretty much everything inside the tank and installed it in my one bathroom. Excellent toilet!

Ah yes, exact same terlit in my upstairs bathroom in 1963. Quality control at it's best ever! That blue color was serenity, so was the light green one downstairs. Ever notice why the sky is blue and plants are green...? Yep! Peaceful colors. White screams "CLEAN ME!" 🤣 🤣 🤣
Beautiful blue. This toilet reminds me of the 40 inch double oven electric range, refrigerator, washer and gas dryer all complete with chrome handles and trim, that my grandparents brought in 1967 when they purchased the home and remained in good condition when Grandma passed away 2 years ago as of April 11th. A throwback to what America once represented, appliances made here at home providing good paying jobs and very high quality, built with pride. Nowadays it's a celebration if your new refrigerator or washing machine lasts 10 years 😢
These Cadets are amazing despite some minor flaws with certain ones (nothing is 100% perfect as this one shows but the extra long flush is 'Unique' to this particular Cadet which makes this a little bit different to all the other Cadets) - overall performance including bowl rinse/clearance is great!!! I do love this blue color (it would be the color of choice if I was installing colored bathroom/toilet fixtures - I think there is a similar blue color available for the 1.6 Gal/6 Litre 1950's Style ('Modern Replica') Burlington Adelphi Toilet in the UK).
There is a problem I am facing with my 62 Cadet, it was made in Feb of 1962 It leaves some foamy stuff behind after a flush of liquid waste and if I have a huge load of solid waste, it may need a second flush.. Does it look like that siphon jet area is filled with minerals?

Do you have a video of it flushing like this? My first thought would be that it is not set to the correct water level.
