About the eredivisie…also Feyenoord (last champion) and AZ are also more challenging. Last years you know on forehand Ajax will be champion but the other teams (PSV, Feyenoord and AZ) are stronger concurrents. Also their performances in Europe get better, see also the extra CL ticket Netherlands get after this year.
But besides that…to develop as a world class player its better that Borges leaves Ajax after a few years, if he made steps.
Your going to be loved here Edson , all we ask is show fight and passion, put some pride back into our club, all the best brother ⚒️🇲🇽⚒️

Ik baseer mijn reactie namelijk op jarenlang acties van Alvarez gezien te hebben. Hij maakte zichzelf vaak belachelijk met achtelijke overtredingen. Het feit dat hij 10 gele kaarten heeft gehad vorig seizoen zegt genoeg. En daar mag hij blij mee wezen, want er zaten er een paar tussen die eigenlijk direct rood waren...
Unbelievable how well this guy speaks. So articulate. He is very proud to be here. This is exactly the type of mentality we need in the football club. Everyone who wants to play for the badge.

We are going to miss him … he will always fight for the badge … give him the time, this guy is a leader and has that champion mentality … his time at ajax refined his technique and his eye to open up and switch the play. But his timely sliding is his trademark and that’s why we love him.

Good signing Mexican and South American players always give their all and fight for the badge. People might laugh but I think he could be an upgrade on Rice. Alvarez, Paqueta and Bowen would be dynamic I hope Paqueta stays.
Usually these players grow up in harsh conditions and seeing their parents work so hard make them go even harder because now he wants to take care of his parents, the latin way

If Edson is able to play at his full potential he'll be a very valuable asset for West Ham United. He's a warrior and he abhors losing. That being said, he needs to learn to control his temper and not become overly aggresive and get into fights when games get hot. Now he's playing the Premier League and he has a fantastic opportunity to grow as a player and as a person. Best of luck to him and of course to West Ham United.

I've seen Alvarez playing for Ajax since I am Dutch and born in Amsterdam thus Ajax fan. A good 'lock on the door'. Those South American players always have a lot of 'grinta'. Hopefully not catching too many red cards this season but in the English competition they allow more anyways.
