This was a really good story ! The FL & ML had great chemistry and acted well together...the only thing that was annoying was the FL constantly letting herself get bullied and abused by her step mother and step sister, even after leaving the house and being forced to marry someone she was told was a vegetable....she didn't owe them anything anymore..she should have just kept away from them.....It was great to see the extra bits at the end actually showing the evil ones get punished, and the mains living happily ever after...well done..
She is gorgeous ,The way the makeup artist has done her eye make up is stunning, they look huge...she also has a sweetness about her which matches his dominance.They have great chemistry.

This was a really good story, and the actors could actually demonstrate real emotion onscreen. The ML was no idiot to be easily deceived by the predators in his household. Once he had made a decision about the FL, I was pleased that he was willing to go through with that commitment come hell or high water. Even onstage, when he was surprised by the pregnancy, he wasn't going to let go right away: he wanted to hear things from her side. I mean, I know we set the bar low for MLs in Cdramas, but good job.
I also appreciated how realistic they were in showing how hard it is for children in abusive family situations to disconnect from their abusers. It doesn't happen overnight. And the ML was very supportive of his wife when she was trying to learn how to refuse them.
Aside: The blurring of the "violent" scenes was just off putting and very jarring.
Aside II: OMG, the villains got EXACTLY what they deserved. The ML was appropriate in his choice of retribution.
After so many stories where the ML never believes the FL untill the very end, this was a very nice story. ML knew he treated her wrong in the begining and seing that she was innocent, he took seriouly the role to protect her and help her stand up for herself. Even in the pregnancy situation, where they made it sound like the baby could be from anyone, he still waited to hear her side of the story. Really nice to solve that in such a way. There are dramas when the ML only finds he's the father when the kids are already 5 or 8.😊

This was a great story... The FL and ML were great together. Love the fact that the ML figured out that the FL was "the hero/cinderella" and protected. The stepmother was a bully and played it well but I would like to see FL fight back. Over all this was very positive love drama love story.

這個男主的短劇都很好看，女主也很可愛，只是一直被欺負好可憐😢 男主叫啥呢？
This drama packed in a few different tropes but it was done very well! It's a mix of "Forced to Marry Coma Guy/Change identities with Sister". I really liked both ML and FL, they did a really good job and look amazing together. FL is the one everyone in her family hates (of course) and is forced to marry ML in place of her sister who actually harmed him and she did it with the promise they would leave her alone, she is pretty fierce and stands up for ML regardless and takes her marriage seriously. ML is a typical faking his coma to figure out who is trying to harm him and immediately falls in love with FL who stands up for him and talks about his body. ML does also have a toxic family of his Stepmother/half-brother/father and various staff.
One thing I do like about this drama is they wrap everything up, we see more or less what happens to everyone who wronged ML/FL and we get to see their happy ending beyond just a wedding scene or a brief kissing scene.
Heartbeat continues to do better and better!

@@Linds2097 the last one I watched was literally down to less than 1 minute when they could be happy together. Chen Guanyi is the good actor, I like him in most of his web dramas. His last year web drama Forever Love (2022) with Zheng Yu Jia was pretty good too if you have not watched it.
@@Linds2097Agree or the toxic B (SFL) keeps doing and things till the end even though could put in jail after first crime. Haven’t watched this yet but from reviews looks good.
Truly agree with you. Of all channels, Heartbeat Short Drama Club comes out with the most awesome dramas. If only they get both Shen Yue & Xu Yi Zhen, it would be great. Both these FL & ML always have good shows. And also if they can release ML & FL leads name, too.
