This show is such a breath of fresh air. Three guys are just talking straight football. Not the bs or nonsense, just the sharing of football knowledge.
I love how Belichick and Co. seem to be true football historians. They have great respect for those that came before them. And I absolutely love hearing their stories.
Look forward to these. From the outside I always thought I'd be stressed playing for a coach like Bill. But the more I listen to him I think it would've made me the best player I could've ever been
Really love the praise to my Houston Texans. We feel like they constantly get overlooked by the national media. Great to see guys like To’oto’o, CJ, and Will get this type of recognition
Y’all have a star studded young team, players that are impossible to hate, a players coach - I love watching this Houston team. I hope you get to enjoy this team for a long time!
2023 Draft was the best draft in Texans history. We'll see where it ranks all time in the long term, but an A+ draft and it'll make them competitive for years to come.
Gervon Dexter is a Top 15 DL All Around this year. He just came out in the same class as Carter. Johnny Newton stepped in for an All Pro DT year 1 and looks dominant. Like DT1.
Has anyone had a bigger turnaround than Belichick? As a Bills fan, I couldn't stand him. Now I cannot stop watching him talk about football. He's dynamic and knowledgeable and I want to hear more...more...more... And he actually smiles!!!
34:50 #33 Evan Williams started pulling ahead of Bullard for the Packers before he pulled his hamstring in warm-ups vs The Lions. They like both, but Williams is an uncommon rookie in terms of assignment and diagnosting trust for the coaching staff. It was noted post game how his absence affected the entire backfield and defensive game plan.
Ok, Did Tyreke Stevenson have a bonehead play to end the Commander game. You bet. But the kid has played at an extremely high level since last year. He's better than All 3 CBs you put up there.
Zay is incredible! I think he gets overlooked because of how much talent is on that team but he’s been phenomenal. I think I’d have swapped Rashee Rice with Flowers. (Not a Baltimore fan. Tbh I love the sport more than I love any one team.)
I wonder if that Arizona game where Herbert got pretty beaten up was too fresh in the memory? But I’m not even a Chargers fan and I think Alt is one of the best emerging tackles in the league and I don’t just mean for young players.
i'm just surprised you guys don't have that Saints tackle Tufunga and also joe alt edit: also the young chargers edge player too I'm forgetting his name, but he's also been really nice
I wonder why Bill did not draft Kincaid. He was high regarded in that draft and a year later unemployed Bill is just making him part of his all Bellichick offensive team wtf
So far I've found myself actively rooting for the Patriots... when they played the Jets. Every other game I just laugh and laugh and laugh. Word out of my old stomping grounds in the Hockomock is that Mayo has trouble understanding like basic conversations. Not particularly bright. When I heard that I was like but he was one of those players who knew what everyone on the field was doing, like Lawrence Taylor. And they were like Do you want Taylor coaching your NFL team? I was like, good point.

Didn't realize we were gonna get a Madden tribute at the beginning but I love it

In a landscape of hot topic sensationalism sports talk, this is the meat & potato discussion real football ppl crave
Reminds me of the Sports Reporters back in the day. Loved that show as a 12 yo
great graphics this episode
enjoying these immensely.
love to see you cover each organizations scouting department at some time.
Great show with no bs!
Must watch!
Madden's love of football came through the television set.
John Madden and John Robinson grew up together as kids....
......and both became head coaches in the NFL.
Best football show on the internet
Love love love this podcast...the insight and analysis is absolutely incredible. Damn.
Quinyon Mitchell has been outstanding at CB for the Eagles and DeJean turned the entire defense around when he became the starter at Nickel
Has anyone had a bigger turnaround than Belichick? As a Bills fan, I couldn't stand him. Now I cannot stop watching him talk about football. He's dynamic and knowledgeable and I want to hear more...more...more... And he actually smiles!!!
The dude loves football and I love hearing him talk it.
He's always been like this
Chargers
Edge: Tuli Tuipolotu
ILB: Daiyan Henley
PR: Derius Davis
I don’t know how Guyton made it over Alt
34:50 #33 Evan Williams started pulling ahead of Bullard for the Packers before he pulled his hamstring in warm-ups vs The Lions. They treat this like a meeting almost. Michael Lombardi and Bill Belichick on "The Pat Mcafee Show" really loosen up. Love to see both sides
A great show!
Texans getting alot of love here
Bill Belichick, Matt Patricia, and Michael Lombardi are the realest to ever do it
It would be cool to see the All-Belichick team of last week play against the team they picked this week!
Love seeing all the Alabama Boys on here. ROLL TIDE
No Joe Alt on this list makes me cry.
Ok, Did Tyreke Stevenson have a bonehead play to end the Commander game. You bet. But the kid has played at an extremely high level since last year. He's better than All 3 CBs you put up there.
Bill also does Inside the NFL on the CW on Fridays. Check your local listings.
Man hard to believe were already in week 10
No Zay Flowers 😔
Great player!!
Zay is incredible! I think he gets overlooked because of how much talent is on that team but he’s been phenomenal. I think I’d have swapped Rashee Rice with Flowers. (Not a Baltimore fan. Tbh I love the sport more than I love any one team.)
Puka makes the team let’s go! 🐏
Guyton over Alt is a wild assertion
This is like a filet mignon and regular sports media is a dollar menu mcchicken
Make Belichick a Head Coach Again!!! MBHCA!!!
No joe alt and I needa know why
I wonder if that Arizona game where Herbert got pretty beaten up was too fresh in the memory? But I’m not even a Chargers fan and I think Alt is one of the best emerging tackles in the league and I don’t just mean for young players.
No flowers is wild
Lets goooo! 👀 🍿
Go on Edelman podcast coach🫡
I’d love to see Lombardi on games with names
Some these coaches have shown good Schemes, but no ability to adjust. No ability to stop the same plays over and over.
The best offensive tackles have been Joe Alt & Paris Johnson.
I wanted to them to speak on the Anthony Richardson situation
no mention of laporta or alt ?
So many SEC Players in the video package, wow! Kinda makes me think of the obvious.. is it obvious to you?? 😊
Can somebody get Patricia a quarter zip!? Haha 🤣
Lots of RAMS! So where is Aaron Donald going to play when he comes back for the playoff run? 😅
Goddamn apparently the chargers haven't done anything this year😂😂
I couldn't stand Howard Cosell.
Turned the TV sound off....and listened to Hank Stram on the radio.
missed Zay Flowers 3rd in yards
Crazy there’s no Joe alt on the list
No Zach Frazier is crazy
i'm just surprised you guys don't have that Saints tackle Tufunga and also joe alt
edit: also the young chargers edge player too I'm forgetting his name, but he's also been really nice
DARIUS DAVIS ALL PRO RETURNER IS NOT ON THE LIST?!
I wish I knew 1 billionth about football that you all do 😂
I wonder why Bill did not draft Kincaid. He was high regarded in that draft and a year later unemployed Bill is just making him part of his all Bellichick offensive team wtf
Don’t worry Bill I still call them the Redskins too
Bo nix without mentioning Maye just shows the salt 😆
Maye didn’t played the whole season and only has 1 winning start which was a game he didn’t finish
So far I've found myself actively rooting for the Patriots... when they played the Jets. Every other game I just laugh and laugh and laugh. Word out of my old stomping grounds in the Hockomock is that Mayo has trouble understanding like basic conversations. Not particularly bright. I was like, good point.
No mention of Jesse Minter is crazy given how dogshit the chargers defense has been the past 5 years
Bullard over Evan Wiliams? As a packer's fan I'm baffled
Players that should have easily been on this list:
Joe Alt
Paris Johnson jr
Zach Frazier
Steve Avila
Keeanu Benton
Will McDonald
Evan Williams
and Ivan Pace jr
laporta
Honestly I’m torn, because I’d love to see Coach break Shulas record, but man I don’t want this show to stop
