You didn't mention footwear for SUP winter paddling? Noticed the presenter has on a pair of Palm Gradient boots - would you recommend these for winter SUP? I use my wetsuit boots for winter SUP, but are looking for something more substantial for walking on rocky shores etc in the winter and gives more grip and foot protection than a wetsuit boot does.

Thanks for the question Nick. If you want to wear really thick wooly socks in your drysuit, then lace-up boots like the Gradient can be nice to give you a little more space for those thick socks. You can take the foot liner out of the Gradient boots too if you want even more space, since the inner sole is fully stitched into the upper. On the other hand, our Nova, Descender and Paw neoprene boots all have a plush thermal lining of their own, so you may find you can get away with thinner socks inside your drysuit with those. The Gradients do have the most substantial sole for rock scrambling.

@Palm Equipment thanks for the reply. Question was good are the gradient books on a SUP? Can you get a reasonable feel for the board compared to wetsuit boots?
