How do you keep the squirrels, rats & raccoons away from your avocados ?

Nice video, Gary. Nabal’s are scrumptious avocado’s. How tall do Nabal trees get ? I think it’s interesting that a Nabal avocado has a type “B” flower type whereas a Reed has a type “A” type.

Humans liked eating avos almost as much as sloth steaks.
Not 2k yrs but *at least* 12k we've been naturally selecting, yes we are nature too, just more invasive than most.

I got some nabal trees. And they are finally starting to get big. Surprisingly they are tall and sturdy plants definitely more vigorous than reed

    I am stoked.
I had not seen a Nabal up close in videos.
Found me a 3 footer Nabal recently.
It's flowering but gotta let it grow some more first.

I eat avocados plain too. But I was taught to sprinkle salt on it
to enhance its flavor. Sort of like salting butter to make it tastier.
    Great show!

I was taught salt, pepper, lime and hot sauce with a beer. Delicious! Thank you

THAT is the exact very, very round avocado that my friend got from the tree on Bush St. FOR SURE. Creamy, large and round, huge seed. Tall, dense gorgeous tree. If anyone knows anyone still living in Ess Eff on Bush off Powell, just down from Atelier Dore, this tree was in a "secret garden" behind a 3 or 4 story grey, black-gated apartment building that was written about with a beautiful picture of bougainvillea framing it in The Chronicle in the late 90's🥑🥑

What's amazes me is that Nabal can produce as well as it does when the tree looks so bad the leaves look sparse.
