I'm am OBSESSED with this track. It is amazing. It's pure ear candy! So many layers to the music, something new to discover every time you listen. It's bloody fantastic.
This is the kind of track that forces you to rethink your list of all-time greatest electronic tracks. Yes, it's that good. Still waiting for the hairs on the back of my neck to lie back down.

I drove north from Oslo to my mother/family in Trondheim (Norway) for Christmas holidays this season, a 6-hour drive, listening to Profound Mysteries I, II and III....until I hit this track. Then it stuck for the rest of the trip, and same thing going back, obviously another 6-hour drive. Listening to this while driving, especially in the dark, is pure joy.
I usually end up replaying this song four or five times and it's kind of scary how loud I have all of the speakers going by the fifth go-around and not even notice it!
It’s goosebumps all over… like if my soul wants to leave my body and fly up to the sky and then fall before transcending into the future… hands down Royksopp ❤
I am just writing little note/poem, about a ship in the stormy ocean..that just helped me to express my feelings and thoughts in to the words. Beautiful Royksopp

God damn this is one of their finest works yet. When it comes to deep house, I'm a huge fan of what I call the "freight train," which at its core is a song with a massive, heavy, pervasive, unstoppable backbeat that builds slowly and methodically. This is a top 5 for sure!
This is the thing about Royksopp, have never been able to say " this is ...favourite royksopp track" , just dont think its possible. I can choose a selection of tracks but one above all? Nope, not many bands can do that.
Listening to this while walking my dog as the sun comes up. Chills on my entire body; feel like my soul has been touched like few artist can do - few artist except for my boys, Royksopp
Hell yeah ok! I can never choose a ' best' royksopp track but for the moment this ' Speed King ' is up there with the best I've ever heard from the band. Starts as a gentle melody suddenly at the 3 minute mark this track just takes off and evolves into something completely different from the introduction. Super powerful , awesome , outstanding and more true masterpiece. Accompanies me everywhere I go it's in my head 🤩💚✌🏴
I heard this playing at McFit while all treadmills and rowing machines were operated at once. It had such an otherworldy sci-fi, cyclic/progressive vibe I got hypnotized. Seeing those 20 people simultaniously doing these sort of "pointless" movements in perfect flow and determination seemingly synchronized with the music didn't look ordinary anymore. Great Tune!
