Time to rank Monaco, even though their songs in the 2000's already are qualified. 1. Un Banc, Un Arbre, Une Rue (1971) A deserved winner! Great vocals and orchestration. Very pleasant and a very uplifting song. 2. Celui Qui Reste Et Celui Qui S'en Va (1974) I think this is one of the best songs in 1974, together with the songs from Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Israel and Yugoslavia. More slower tempo than the 1971 song, but almost as good. Great vocals and performance by Romuald and the backing singers.. Great orchestration too. 3. L'amour S'en Va (1963) A very pleasant and soothing song. Françoise Hardy sings well. And R.I.P to her as she passed away some months ago. 4. Une Petite Française (1977) This song has a nice rhythm and vibe to it.. a bit down-tempo, but it's a great song with good vocals by Michèle Torr and nice orchestration by the orchestra. I believe she is still active to this day. 5. Une Chanson C'est Une Lettre (1975) A sweet, pleasant song and it's underrated. Sophie sings well. 6. Toi, La Musique Et Moi (1976) A nice up-tempo song with some swing to it.. Has good vocals and nice orchestration. 7. Tout De Moi (2005) Monaco's best song from the 2000's in my opinion. Very underrated and i think this song was robbed too.. It's old school, but it's a beautiful song and Lise Darly sings very good. I believe this song would have sounded even better with a live orchestra. 8. Notre Planète (2004) Sounds like a typical pop song from the early 2000's.. but i think it's cute and a pretty good song. Nice choreography and good vocals by Maryon, even though she seemed a little nervous on the stage. 9. Boum-Badaboum (1967) It's very catchy and sounds different compared to other songs in this era. A pretty good song as well. 10. Les Jardins De Monaco (1978) It's a pretty nice song with good orchestration. Good vocals from Caline and Olivier, even though they don't match together that well. I hope that Monaco will make a comeback to Eurovision. They rejoined EBU earlier this year.. so hopefully they will return in the near future. Fun fact: The singer in 1959 was the father of the singer that won Eurovision in 1960, who competed for France.
Thank you for your ranking of Monaco's entries. I had NO IDEA about the fun fact you wrote, that is fascinating indeed :))) Monaco needs to return, as well as Andorra. If San Marino can do it, they can as well
@@esc_victor08 You're welcome! Yeah, had no idea neither until i saw someone comment about that on TH-cam 😊 they do look like father and daughter for sure. Hopefully with enough funding and interest then maybe Monaco and Andorra can return in the future 😊
1. 2005 2. 2006 3. 2004 Favorites from last century: 1963 (big movie star in France), 1966 (the early years of an iconic Croatian diva), 1970, 71, 74, 75, 76 (their best one), 77, 78.
Ok I'm surprised you didn't recognize that Tereza in 66 represented Yugoslavia in 72 So 67 was about the threat of nuclear war back during that time so I can see why it's fairly liked now Anyway my favorites are 1971, 1976, 1977, 1962, 1974, 1967, and 1960
Hmmm, I'm not an expert on trivia when it comes to old entries so I don't know background of most things but that's why I have all of you to tell me about it :))
1 - La Coco-Dance (2006)
2 - Notre Planète (2004)
3 - Tout De Moi (2005)

Everybody loves Tereza and I'm surprised how many people know she's Croatian. She is still singing I think
