The thing that I loved about bird kingdom is that it’s so big and spacious for the birds that they are not at all disturbed by humans and are in an environment where they can live their lives like they would in their real home. It was truly lovely to see an enclosure that was far from an enclosure, if that makes sense 😊
I've been there a few times and I absolutely love it, I haven't been there once without going in the lorikeet landing and feeding the birds, favourite place in the world by far, thanks for the video!
I’m going in a few days or like a week but it looks so cool so I wanted to see it because me and my family want to go on the weekend so after this I really want to go ty for the vid
Sadly I went to this place last week after seeing this video. I regret it terribly. Many of the birds looked sick, lots had many feathers missing, the cages were small. It was an extremely upsetting visit for me. If you care about animals, you will not support this place. I was nearly in tears. There's not just this large, open area. The ones in this area look the best, but there's many in cages the size of small closets. Two little blue jays hopping around on artificial trees, some tortoises that did not look well, the poor parrots with balding wings, bats in a tiny area not large enough to fly in, it's heartbreaking for these animals with no escape. Bird dirt all over, it's upsetting to see animals in this condition and I really wish I'd not gone or supported it in any way. Had I known, I'd never have set foot in there. There's no shortage of similar reviews like this on Trip Advisor as well. I only wish I'd read them before going. I had no idea. The butterfly conservatory is wonderful, this place is nothing like it whatsoever, not with the health of the animals or how it's maintained.
Thank you for your detailed comments. I wonder who is in charge of regulating a business like this to make sure the animals are living in adequate conditions.
@@TravelGuruTGTV I'm not sure, but profit is their concern, not the welfare of the animals. Every reply they give back on Trip Advisor is a canned reply to ones with reviews like mine as well. "We are an accredited......" blah, blah, blah..... Yeah, you do the minimum required by law, but are within it. Then the laws should change. It's very, very sad. There's no escape for those animals other than death.
@@sharonsomers They accept birds donated by owners who don’t want them anymore. While I don’t know the specifics of the ones you saw, they could have arrived there in an already bad state.

It is so fun there, im gonna be honest I was scared of some birds kinda doing they're business on me 😂😂
LMAO! I never even thought of that, but, you're right, I'm sure that "business" hits a bunch of visitors on a daily basis...lol
Why can’t you take photos with the birds?
You can take pictures with some of the birds but I'm assuming many of them are too exotic for that... Thanks for watching!
They sell you pictures they take of you posing with the birds
