I was thinking about this boat, but I’m leaning a bit more towards one with a skeg which should be in immensely helpful with holding course and going straight even when you for a moment stop peddling. how easy would you say is maneuvering this one without a skeg ?
@@Celisar1 paddling straight skegless either in a packraft or an inflatable kayak with the skeg removed is all down to how balanced your paddle strokes are. It's not about the boat, it's about the paddler. To some degree a skeg can mask unbalanced strokes. However one assist in a skegless craft is to add weight to the front.
